Stars of stage and screen will illuminate the night sky when the Pasadena Symphony and POPS presents its annual free Music Under the Stars concert on Saturday, June 3 at Pasadena City Hall's Centennial Square.

For the final production of its 2016/17 season, Artists Repertory Theatre presents The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde, directed by Resident Artist Michael Mendelson.  Previews run May 16 through May 19, the play opens May 20 and runs through June 11 on the Alder Stage.

Tony Award-nominated singer & actress Melissa Errico will return to Feinstein's/54 Below on Saturday, June 3 at 7pm for the NYC debut of her acclaimed concert 'Melissa Errico Sings Sondheim,' where she will lend her gorgeous voice to the music and lyrics of Stephen Sondheim, including songs from shows of his that she has starred in.

Irish Repertory Theatre has announced its Summer 2017 Season. On the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage will be WOODY SEZ: THE LIFE & MUSIC OF WOODY GUTHRIE, directed by Nick Corley (Kissing Jessica Stein).

The new play, '& Juliet,' written by Robert Caisley and directed by Marc Geller will have its premiere at New Jersey Repertory Company from May 4th to June 6th. Broadwayworld.com interviewed Caisley about his career and the upcoming show.

Brick Road Theatre will present A MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE, the 2003 Outer Critics Circle Best Musical Award recipient, on May 5th-13th, 2017. The Tony Award-winning trio behind RAGTIME writes the show: Terrance McNally (Book), Stephen Flaherty (music) and Lynn Ahrens (lyrics). Lon Barrera directs.

Oscar Wilde's wildly controversial "Salome" will be presented May 4 to May 20 at The Provincetown Theater. Written in 1891, the play was quickly condemned as a blasphemous take on The Old Testament tale of Salome, and banned in England for the next forty years. The play is full of religious mysticism, prophecy and superstition. Its characters mull over ideas about religious belief, morality, the ruling class, and especially human lust and sexual desire. Wilde's lyrical text mates image-rich cadences and repetitions with the narcissistic, violent and sexually-charged appetites of the play's central characters.

Today, Theatr Clwyd announced the full cast for a major new revival of Oscar Wilde's classic masterpiece, The Importance of Being Earnest which opens on 9 May, with previews from 4 May, and runs until 27 May.

James Judd, humorist, NPR personality, and author comes home to New Jersey when Jersey City Theater Center (JCTC) presents Now I Know, his one-person show at White Eagle Hall, the newly restored historic theater in Jersey City, April 23rd at 4:30pm.
