Epstein Entertainments Ltd announce details of their debut panto production coming to The Epstein Theatre this Christmas.

The principal casting for the first public performance of a new musical featuring the hits of Grammy-award-winning Canadian singer Anne Murray was revealed today.

He doesn't know it, but this will be the last night of his life. This is the setup of The Mountaintop. Throughout the play, writer Katori Hall's witty and intelligent dialogue exposes the man behind the movement.

Seattle Theatre Group (STG) announces its highest-attended season to date with more than 1 million patrons attending more than 700 events during its 2017/2018 season - an increase in attendance of over 35% from STG's previous record (771,00 in 2015). Through this overwhelming support of its performances, programs, and special events, STG has also garnered a record single-season net surplus, which in turn will allow the organization to continue its mission to create enriching experiences in the arts, engage diverse communities, and steward historic theatres.  

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the full cast and creative team for Paradise Square: An American Musical. The world premiere is helmed by acclaimed director Moises Kaufman, with choreography by the legendary Bill T. Jones and a book by Marcus Gardley, Craig Lucas, and Larry Kirwan. Music by Jason Howland and Larry Kirwan, with lyrics by Nathan Tysen, and based on the songs of Stephen Foster. Paradise Square is produced by special arrangement with Garth H. Drabinsky in association with Peter LeDonne and Teatro Proscenium Limited Partnership.

The Montreal English Theatre Awards celebrated it's 6th Awards Ceremony in one of the city's most beautiful and historic theatres, the Ludger-Duvernay, made possible by a new partnership with the National Theatre School of Canada and its theatre venue, the Monument-National. A new musical is being developed by a Nova Scotian writing team that will feature songs originally made famous by Anne Murray, the Grammy-award-winning singer from Springhill, Nova Scotia. The show just underwent a 2-week developmental workshop in Halifax with an 11-member cast of actors. The workshop culminated in a staged reading presentation at the Bella Rose Arts Centre this past Friday.

The 2018 winners of the Paul O'Sullivan Prize for Musical Theatre are thrilled to announce the cast and creative team for the in-development Fringe presentation of The Preposterous Predicament of Polly Peel (Act 1), an extraordinary new Canadian musical by Julie Tepperman & Kevin Wong, as part of the Toronto Fringe Festival July 5 - 15, 2018.

STG's signature dance program, DANCE This celebrates the incredible milestone of 20 years with a program that brings together guest artists from New York and Mexico to share the stage with Seattle's diverse talent of dancers and choreographers. The celebration features scores of performers and invites them to share their culture through the art of dance with a public performance on Friday, July 13 at 7:30 p.m. at The Paramount Theatre.  

The final production of Neptune Theatre's 55th season is the worldwide musical (and feature film) phenomenon; MAMMA MIA!. Set on a remote Greek island during the summer of 2008, MAMMA MIA! tells the story of Sophie, a spirited bride-to-be who invites three of her mother's old flames to her wedding in the aim of finding her father much to the dismay of Donna, her fiercely independent mother.
