Montana-based rising stars, The Lil Smokies, have just announced the release of their third studio album, Tornillo, on January 24, 2020. Recorded at Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, TX, with producer-engineer Bill Reynolds (The Avett Brothers, Band of Horses, Midland) Tornillo is a focused and refined representation of the sound The Lil Smokies have become known for. Their dynamic musicianship, anthemic songs, and packed tour schedule have launched The Lil Smokies' career, checking off goals many musicians dream of; Telluride Bluegrass, Red Rocks, and millions of streams on Spotify, to name a few. Comprised of Matt Cornette (banjo), Andy Dunnigan (vocals, dobro), Scott Parker (bass), Matt “Rev” Rieger (guitar, vocals) and Jake Simpson (fiddle, vocals), The Lil Smokies' camaraderie on stage is every bit a reflection of their bond off stage. “We're all best friends, and I really do mean that with sincerity,” Dunnigan says. Acclaimed indie-pop duo Tennis has announced plans for a major North American headline tour. The dates get underway February 25 at Kansas City, MO's Madrid Theatre & Café and then continue through early May. Highlights include top-billed performances at Boise, ID's Treefort Music Fest (March 27) and Atlanta, GA's annual Shaky Knees Music Festival (May 3). Support on all headline dates comes from Molly Burch. Tickets for all headline dates go on sale Friday, November 15 at 10 am (local). Today, Bat For Lashes, aka Natasha Khan, announces select North American tour dates in support of her critically acclaimed new album Lost Girls out now via AWAL Recordings. These shows will be intimate — vocal and electronic synth and piano sets; euphoric, atmospheric and lush, a never performed before set of previous Bat For Lashes material and songs from the new album Lost Girls plus a few surprises. Tickets will be on sale on Friday, November 8 at 10 am local time in all markets.

Today the LA-based DJ/producer PBDY (pronounced Peabody) releases “Tears or Rain”, his brilliant new single featuring the vocals of Future Islands frontman Samuel T. Herring (whose previous collaborations include BADBADNOTGOOD, Madlib, and Clams Casino). Watch the accompanying video directed by Diego Navarro. “Tears or Rain” arrives as the third single from PBDY's (real name Paul Preston) debut album Careworn to be released digitally via Brainfeeder on 15 November 2019.  

Pinegrove have revealed plans for their new album, Marigold, to be released on Rough Trade Records on January 17th, 2020. The announcement comes with a video for the second track to be released from the album, “Phase”, directed by Colin Read. The band quietly released the album's first single, “Moment”, in August and Marigold has been eagerly awaited by the band's dedicated and rapidly expanding fanbase for months. Details of its release come just days after Pinegrove wrapped a coast-to-coast tour of North America - performing to sold out theaters in front of their largest audiences to date. Today's announcement includes details of an extensive US and European tour for early 2020 (All dates below). Initial pre-orders of Marigold will come with a presale code for the 2020 dates.

Icelandic singer-songwriter Ásgeir has today shared the first single & video from his forthcoming new album – premiered with KEXP, “Youth” is a reflection of the artist's childhood. He also announces his third album Bury The Moon will be released on February 7, 2020 on One Little Indian Records, with a full UK/EU/US tour to coincide.
