Red Bull Theater Presents Two Benefit Readings: GALLATHEA and GALATEA

Today, RED BULL THEATER announced that it is partnering independently with the Drama League and WP Theater on two events inspired by John Lyly's play, Gallathea, an Elizabethan play that was premiered in 1588 by the boy players of the Children of Paul's.

One of FST's most successful and beloved Cabarets, Unchained Melodies was seen by over 20,000 people last season. Due to popular demand, the show was brought back last year for its first return engagement in March 2019. This year, due to continued audience demand, the popular Cabaret will return to Sarasota in its second limited return engagement in March 2020.

Running from Wednesday March 23 through Saturday April 9, at the Flamboyan Theater, 107 Suffolk Street, Shakespeare Exchange's 'Hamlet10' will be brought to life by uniquely diverse ensemble of just 10 actors who will play all the roles in the play, including, by turns, the role of the tragic Danish prince.  These ten faces of Hamlet (five female and five male) will stress how aspects of Hamlet reside in us all.

Claridad (the original company of Here Lies Love) directs and serves as head writer for the new investigative theatre piece that will play October 23rd through November 1 at the Access Theatre.
