On Wednesday, April 21, Matt Doyle played two concerts at Joe's pub, where he was joined by special guests Jennifer Damiano (Tony nominee for Next to Normal), Emma Hunton (Spring Awakening) and Wesley Taylor (The Addams Family, Rock of Ages) in the second performance. Burgess, Fowler & More Announced for NEO6 Concert at York 5/10

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director) will present NEO6, a benefit concert celebrating New, Emerging, Outstanding musical theatre writers, on Monday, May 10 at its home in Saint Peter's Theatre. Following the 7:30 PM performance (featuring the voices of many of today's top musical theatre talent), there will be a champagne and dessert reception to end the evening.

National Corporate Theatre Fund (NCTF) held its Annual Chairman's Awards Gala and benefit yesterday, Monday, April 19 at the St. Regis New York hotel. This year, NCTF Chairman James S. Turley, Chairman & CEO of Ernst & Young, honored Nathan Lane (currently starring on Broadway in The Addams Family), set designer Eugene Lee (Wicked) and Wells Fargo & Company. Accepting the award on behalf of Wells Fargo was Joe Kirk, Regional President for New York and Connecticut. All net proceeds of the event will be distributed as the NCTF/WELLS FARGO FUND FOR NEW AMERICAN THEATRE.
Joe Iconis' BLOODSONG OF LOVE Opens At Ars Nova Tonight 4/15

Ars Nova, under the leadership of Artistic Director Jason Eagan, will present the world premiere of the new musical BLOODSONG OF LOVE with book, music & lyrics by Joe Iconis and directed by John Simpkins. BLOODSONG OF LOVE, which was commissioned and developed by Ars Nova, began previews on April 1st prior to an official press opening of April 15th at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues) in Manhattan.

Radio Happy Hour returns home to New York from their brief Midwestern tour on May 08 for a performance at (le) Poisson Rouge. The May episode will feature indie-folk icon David Bazan, actor Jesse Eisenberg (The Squid & The Whale, Adventureland, and the upcoming The Living Wake), and comedian Max Silvestri for a comedic murder-mystery, musical performances, interviews and more.

Last night on Tuesday, April 13, Bishop Gene Robinson, the first openly gay priest to be ordained a bishop in a major Christian denomination, lead a talk back with cast and audience following a performance of NEXT FALL on Broadway. Robinson currently serves as the ninth bishop of the Diocese of New Hampshire in the Episcopal Church. The talkback was free to anyone attending last night's performance.

MEMPHIS, the musical that is currently BLOWING THE ROOF OFF BROADWAY celebrated its 200th performance on Saturday, April 10th at 8pm at the Shubert Theatre. Cast and crew celebrated this milestone in true MEMPHIS style with dinner from Carmine's and cake between shows.

Keir Dullea will make his long-awaited return to the stage in Robert Anderson's I Never Sang for My Father, presented by the Keen Company in association with Wiltsie Bridge Productions, at Theatre Row from March 23 - May 1. Directed by Jonathan Silverstein, I Never Sang for My Father marks the second Anderson play presented by Keen, following the success of its 2007 critically acclaimed production of Tea & Sympathy. Actors Matt Servitto and Marsha Mason will join Dullea on stage for the production.
