COCKETTES: THE SECOND CUMMING, a musical revue celebrating the music of original Cockette, Scrumbly Koldewyn, will play Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St, New York City) at the Public Theater Saturday, Sept 9 @ 9:30pm.

Following the runaway success of the debut A Christmas Gaiety performance last year, drag sensation Peaches Christ and conductor / producer Edwin Outwater will return to the Royal Albert Hall to host this year’s biggest camp Christmas party as part of the Hall’s festive celebrations for 2023 in association with Clapham Grand.

The Jaxx Theatre has announced the final show of their 16th anniversary season. HALFWAY TO GETHSEMANE makes its World Premiere at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Labeled as “a black comedy about white trash,”Sordid Lives, though by name sounds like an unsavory show, is in actuality an enjoyable hootenanny. The setting is July 1988 in small-town Winters, Texas and everyone’s lives have been upturned by the peculiar passing of family matriarch, Peggy. Peggy was a good Christian woman who hits her head on the sink and bleeds to death after tripping over her lover’s wooden legs in a motel room.The show chronicles the lives of Peggy’s family and associates from the time of her passing to her funeral as everyone tries to make sense of the nonsensical death.

Award winner Lorna Dallas is making a welcome return to the New York Stage in Barry Kleinbort/Christopher Denny helmed new musical cabaret.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre will present Lorna Dallas in her latest musical feast, “Glamorous Nights and Rainy Days,” in a two-night engagement - Saturday, May 13 and Wednesday, May 17 - both shows at 7pm.

Director John Waters will return to Club Getaway in Kent, Connecticut next fall to host his 6th Annual Camp John Waters weekend. This once-in-a-lifetime sleepaway-camp experience for his super fans will take place September 8th - 11th. The Writer’s Retreat, March 19-21, will include online writing workshops, author events, and a writing marathon.

SF Sketchfest announced a new series of Live from the Archive videos that will be released each Tuesday beginning on May 5, 2020. The series will feature many never-before-seen performances, tribute conversations and panel discussions from the past 19 years and will include appearances by many comedy and entertainment luminaries.

HOLLYWOOD, CA   JANUARY, 2020 There was quite the wild opening night going on at the fabulous Montalban Theatre, in Hollywood, this past month. And I have a feeling, every night since, until it closed it's two-week run, due mostly to cast members' former commitments, it felt much the same. The audience was treated to an embellished redux of the 1975 cult smash hit of the same name.
