The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame (LIMEHOF) recently awarded Ten $1000 scholarships to ten graduating students from across Long Island.

Country traditionalist Alex Miller made his Grand Ole Opry debut on Thursday (June 27), fulfilling a lifelong dream with a magical two-song set. With his 1944 Martin D-18 in hand, Alex performed his hit “Puttin’ Up Hay” and his latest single release, the poignant “My Daddy’s Dad.”

Julianne Moore, Meghann Fahy and Milly Alcock are set to star in the Netflix limited series Sirens. The series is a female-driven, dark comedy limited series created by Emmy-nominated writer and showrunner Molly Smith Metzler (Maid) and executive produced by LuckyChap.

After launching their Summer Tour last month, the genre-bending Michigan collective Joe Hertler & the Rainbow Seekers have released additional tour dates continuing into the Fall! Known for their high-energy, boogie-ready live shows, the band keeps on rolling through the U.S. through November.
