The York Theatre Company's Cheek to Cheek: Irving Berlin in Hollywood is set to begin performances Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 7:30PM for a limited engagement through Sunday afternoon, October 16 at 2:30PM.

Rehearsals have been in full swing for York Theatre Company's encore engagement of Cheek to Cheek: Irving Berlin in Hollywood in anticipation of the start of performances a week from tonight.  Here's a look at the company before they head to the theatre! See first look photos of the company!

The York Theatre Company has announced the complete cast and creative team for the limited return engagement of the hit Off-Broadway musical Cheek to Cheek: Irving Berlin in Hollywood, a song and dance celebration featuring the music and lyrics of the legendary Irving Berlin which premiered last Fall.

The cast includes Jeremy Benton (42nd Street, Cagney at The York), Darien Crago (Holiday Inn, Irving Berlin's White Christmas), Kaitlyn Davidson (Cinderella, Bright Star), Danny Gardner (Flying Over Sunset, The Decline and Fall of the Entire World… at The York), and Melinda Porto (Off Broadway debut). Understudies are Corinne Munsch (A Chorus Line at Signature, Bullets Over Broadway on tour) and Sean Quinn (Irving Berlin's White Christmas, Cinderella).

The virtual edition of Broadway Backwards delivered an emotional and exuberant evening of performances and raised a record $749,555 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center.

Broadway Backwards, the annual event where gender doesn't matter but love does, made its virtual premiere earlier this week with special appeals from Chasten Buttigieg, Ariana DeBose, Debra Messing, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Tony Shalhoub and Ben Vereen. K-Squared Entertainment will present an online industry reading of Nico Juber’s theatrical debut, Millennials Are Killing Musicals, on January 15, 2021, featuring book, music & lyrics by Juber. Millennials Are Killing Musicals will star Drama Desk Award-winner Asmeret Ghebremichael as Brenda and Diana Huey as Katrina, and more.
