Within the span of just the first two weeks of July, four cutting edge comedies will open at producer Mark Cortale's renowned Art House in Provincetown, hot on the heels of the just-opened new hit Varla Jean Merman show Bad Heroine.  First, Jinkx Monsoon and Peaches Christ bring their smash hit Return to Grey Gardens back to Ptown after a two-year hiatus for a summer long run from July 5 - September 7. Next, Jinkx Monsoon debuts her own new show The Ginger Snapped with cohort Major Scales at the piano, from July 8 through September 10. The next evening, super-duo Kitten n' Lou make their Art House debut with their new comedy "Holier Than Thou" - fresh from a critically-acclaimed, sold out smash run at Fringe World in Australia and Joe's Pub in NYC, from July 9 - 24. Summer 2017's Town Hall series in Provincetown, produced by Mark Cortale, will kick-off with Bianca Del Rio, RuPaul's Drag Race Season 6 winner, on July 10 at 8:30pm. Three of Broadway's most popular leading ladies will follow for Broadway @ Town Hall this summer: Megan Hilty, breakout star of NBC TV's "Smash" and Broadway's "Wicked" and a Tony nominee for the recent Broadway production of "Noises Off", on August 6 at 6:30pm, with Seth Rudetsky as pianist and host; Sutton Foster, Tony Award winner for "Anything Goes" and star of the hit TV Land series "Younger" by "Sex and the City" creator Darren Star, on August 13 at 6:30pm, with Michael Rafter at piano; and Laura Benanti, Tony Award winning star of "Gypsy" and star Melania Trump impersonator on Stephen Colbert's show on September 3 at 6:30pm, with Seth Rudetsky as pianist and host.

Producer Mark Cortale is bringing two rising music stars back to The Art House this summer after sold-out debuts last season. Recording artist Steve Grand returns for a summer-long engagement from July 5 - August 31, and cutting edge NYC cabaret star Tori Scott returns this summer for two shows only, on July 8 & 9 - she will also be opening for Bianca Del Rio at Provincetown's Town Hall on July 10th.

Will & Grace is on its way back for a mini revival season, but producer David Kohan tells The Hollywood Reporter that the show will not play into the political atmosphere and start preaching a message.

This summer, Brian Charles Rooney will star as Miss Blanche, in the Premiere of the solo musical, Miss Blanche Tells It All by Jason Jacobs & Matthew C. Pritchard. Directed by Gisela Cardenas, with musical direction by Robert Frost and choreography by Nicole Curcio, it will begin performances as part of this year New York Musical Festival (NYMF) beginning July 12 at Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Playwrights Horizons (416 W 42nd St).

The School Of American Ballet (SAB) held it's annual alumni cocktail reception on June 2, 2017. The SAB event was held at it's Lincoln Center location and was attended by many of it's illustrious alumni.  SAB is one of the most famous classical ballet schools in the world and is the school of George Balanchine's New York City Ballet, a leading international ballet company based at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. The school trains students from the age of six, with professional vocational ballet training for students aged 11-18.
