Tonight, November 19 (8 pm) pianist Anthony de Mare brings the third and final installment of his inspired LIAISONS project to Symphony Space's Peter Jay Sharp Theatre.

Heather Bullach with her oil painting 'Going Out' was voted the 2015 winner of the Canton Arts District All-Stars Exhibition at the November 6, Canton First Friday event, chosen by votes from the 400+ audience. The new All-Stars competition attracted over 80 participating artists who have exhibited artwork in the Canton Arts District.

fandango 4 Art House has announced that it will present the world premiere of THE DISHONORABLE DISCHARGE OF PRIVATE PITTS, a new play based loosely on actual events surrounding a young Texas girl's unfathomable journey from 'miracle child' to aimless rebel, into the throes of the Iraq war and beyond, tonight, November 5 - November 22 at the IATI Theater at 64 East 4th Street in NYC.

Next up for Daron Bruce's students at Hume-Fogg Academic High School (one of the nation's highest rated secondary schools) is a much-anticipated production of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd, running November 5-7 at the iconic and historic high school - located on Broadway, naturally - in downtown Nashville. Taking on the challenge of portraying Sweeney Todd, the demon barber of Fleet Street, is Andrew Forbes, who is in today's High School Drama spotlight.

YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, whose full official title is The New Mel Brooks Musical Young Frankenstein, is a musical with a book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan and music and lyrics by Brooks. Based on the 1974 film of the same name by Brooks and Gene Wilder, it is a parody of the horror film genre, specifically the 1931 Universal Pictures adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and its 1939 sequel, Son of Frankenstein.

A meditation on America's relationship to our land, our resources, and ourselves, BabsonARTS will present ETHEL's Documerica, a multimedia concert that melds multiple screen video projections with original music by some of today's top composers and performed with electrifying virtuosity by the indie-classical quartet ETHEL,  tonight, October 23, 8 p.m. at Carling-Sorenson Theater 213 Forest Street at Babson College. En Garde Arts presents BOSSS, its new site-specific outdoor performance festival featuring new works by some of the New York City's most promising emerging theatre artists, this weekend, October 23-25 throughout Hudson River Park. The opening night party at The Frying Pan will now take place on October 23 at 7pm. (Tickets for the opening night party, on board the Frying Pan at Pier 66, are $250 or $75 for artists.)

Princeton, NJ – The Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) four-concert 2015-2016 Chamber Series opens Sunday, October 4 at 4:30 pm with the Signum Quartet performing seven #quartweet premieres written by PSO composer friends Derek Bermel, Sebastian Currier, Julian Grant, Jing Jing Luo, Steven Mackey, Caroline Shaw, and Sarah Kirkland Snider. The group's #quartweet project explores the integration of Twitter formatting with composer creativity, encouraging composers worldwide of all ages and experience levels to create condensed works of 140 notes or less. The concert, which also features full-length works by Beethoven and Janá?ek, and #quartweet precursors by Bach and Webern, will take place at the Institute for Advanced Study's Wolfensohn Hall.  The chamber concert serves as the official public launch of the quartet's worldwide #quartweet tour.
