Original Sly and the Family Stone founding members Jerry Martini and Greg Errico, along with Sly Stone and Cynthia Robinson’s daughter, Phunne Stone, kicked off the Everyday People tour in Las Vegas before their upcoming concert. The concert celebrating the legacy of Sly and the Family Stone will be held at the Club at the Cannery Casino & Hotel on Oct. 25.

Island City Stage will present the South Florida premiere of Bryna Turner’s At the Wedding through September 14, 2025. Directed by Andy Rogow, the biting comedy follows Carlo as she crashes her ex-girlfriend’s wedding and navigates heartbreak, humor, and hope.

Island City Stage will close its 2024–25 season with the South Florida premiere of At the Wedding by Bryna Turner, running August 21 through September 21 at the company’s home in Wilton Manors.

Palm Beach Dramaworks, the West Palm Beach theater which won the most Carbonell Awards of any theater in 2018, is now the most-nominated theater for 2019.
