KPOP the Musical has delayed its official opening night to November 27. The production was supposed to open on November 20, but has delayed due to a principal member of cast testing positive for COVID-19.

Due to COVID cases within the company, this evening's performance of KPOP, November 15, has been canceled. 

KPOP, starring K-pop super star Luna, will open on Broadway at Circle in the Square Theatre on Sunday, November 20, 2022. KPOP, directed by Teddy Bergman, features a book by Jason Kim; choreography by Jennifer Weber; music, lyrics, music production and arrangements by Helen Park; and music and lyrics by Max Vernon. Get a first look at photos here!

The matinee performance of KPOP at 2pm on Wednesday, November 9, has been canceled.

KPOP, a new musical inspired by the global K-pop phenomenon, announces three new day-of ticketing initiatives in an effort to make tickets more accessible.

It was a box office frenzy at the CIRCLE IN THE SQUARE THEATRE as tickets went on sale for the upcoming new musical KPOP. The box office opened at 10 am on Thursday and the line started at 8 am and continued weaving onto 50th Street throughout the day. Check out photos 

The box office opens for Broadway's KPOP, a new musical inspired by the global K-pop phenomenon. In honor of the 19 members of the KPOP company making their Broadway debuts, the production is offering a limited number of $19 tickets to preview performances.

The complete cast has been announced for Broadway’s KPOP, a new musical inspired by the global K-pop phenomenon, which will perform at Circle in the Square Theatre. In addition to Luna, a K-pop idol, other cast members from the K-pop world include BoHyung, Min, and Kevin Woo.

Ryan McCartan will return to the role of “Hans” on the Frozen North American tour from July 12 – September 4, 2022, replacing Austin Colby, who will play his final performance on July 10, 2022. McCartan has previously played “Hans” in the Broadway and touring productions of Frozen.

From the producer of The Lion King and Aladdin, Frozen, the Tony-nominated Best Musical, will play an exclusive two-week premiere engagement at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center beginning Tuesday, May 17, 2022, with performances playing through Sunday, May 29, 2022. Opening night is set for Wednesday, May 18 at 7:30pm.

Original Broadway cast member Lauren Nicole Chapman will join the Frozen North American tour as “Anna.” Chapman begins performances on Thursday, May 19 at The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton, WI.

For Thursday evening’s performance of Frozen the Musical the crowd was buzzing, little girls and women of all ages appeared in Elsa and Anna dresses, and some were carrying Olafs by their side in anticipation of a magical trip to the fictional Arendelle. Like many of us immersed in pop culture and especially here in the Sunshine State where Disney makes Central Florida a primary vacation destination, the magic of Frozen has appeared in our lives in some form or fashion over the course of the last 8-9 years. Since its release in November of 2013, the Disney film Frozen has captivated audiences and families of all ages. From its hit musical numbers to the lovable characters Disney once again created something for everyone. In 2019 Disney released a sequel to the behemoth film and added yet another magical adventure to Arendelle with the release of Frozen 2. Led by an all-star cast of Broadway Legends from Idina Menzel and Jonathan Groff to film actress Kristen Bell, Frozen and Frozen 2 warmed even the coldest of hearts and the world of Disney animation has never been the same since, and for that, we are forever thankful.
