Like the stage version of Disney's Lion King before it, this production is high quality live theatre that excels on multiple levels. There is quite a lot to see, experience, and enjoy in FROZEN both for the young and the young at heart.

The Actors Fund announced that Disney's Frozen, the Tony Award®-nominated Best Musical, will hold a Special Performance of the North American Tour at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre (6233 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles) on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. Proceeds from the performance will benefit the programs and services of The Actors Fund, the national human services organization that helps everyone in performing arts and entertainment.

The national tour of Frozen kicks off today, and it was just announced that it will be featuring a new song!

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) just presented Intersecting Chords, the annual NYMF concert that celebrates female, trans, and non-binary songwriters who are changing the landscape of musical theatre. Intersecting Chords was directed by Shelley Butler, music directed by Charity Wicks, and produced by Hannah Lang.

Wrapping up the Encores! Off-Center season is  Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's Road Show, running July 24-27. Directed and choreographed by Will Davis, with music direction by James Moore, Road Show tells the somewhat true story of the Mizner brothers who inherit a small fortune at the turn of the 20th Century and set out to grab their piece of the American Dream in a country where anything seems possible. The production will star Chuck Cooper (Papa Mizner), Raul Esparza (Wilson Mizner), Jin Ha (Hollis Bessemer), Mary Beth Peil (Mama Mizner), and Brandon Uranowitz (Addison Mizner).

Encores! Off-Center today announced casting for Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's Road Show, the final production of the 2019 Encores! Off-Center series and conclusion of the City Center 75th Anniversary Season.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Ben Lohrberg's New York and Feinstein's/54 Below cabaret debut in Dream with Me. With his charming wit and "powerful, yet sweet vibrato" (Revue West Michigan), Ben sings the music of Leonard Bernstein, Jeff Buckley, Harry Nilsson, Stephen Sondheim, and many others to create a rich tapestry of dreams sure to ease your mind and melt your heart. The national tour of the Lincoln Center Theater Production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's The King and I will make its Columbus premiere at the Ohio Theatre April 24-29 with an Ohio native in the lead female role of Anna Leonowens. Hailing from Chagrin Falls, Elena Shaddow takes on the character of the British schoolteacher hired by the King of Siam to educate his wives and children.
