It was announced today that Elena Shaddow will join the Lincoln Center Theater production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's THE KING AND I as Anna Leonowens, beginning March 20 in Tempe, AZ.

Featuring outstanding performances from a cast led by Laura Michelle Kelly and Jose Llana, the beautiful and exquisite national tour production of Lincoln Center Theater's Tony Award-winning revival of the 1951 Rodgers and Hammerstein classic THE KING AND I leaves audiences utterly spellbound by its sweeping opulence and gorgeous, reverent staging-which notably combines the elegance and grace of the classic musical many of us have known and loved for decades with a knowing sensitivity to modern times that we exist in today. The national tour production continues its two-week run of performances at Orange County's Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa that continues through March 11, 2018.

Next week, FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond, including Liz Callaway, Steve Kazee, the cast of CATS, the New Writers at 54! series, and a HELLO MUDDAH, HELLO FADDUH! reunion concert. Feinstein's/54 Below presents "New Writers at 54: Songs by Julia Meinwald & Gordon Leary" on Sunday, July 30. Julia and Gordon write aggressively empathetic musicals. In the tradition of their shows Pregnancy Pact (Weston Playhouse, 2012) and The Loneliest Girl in the World (Diversionary Theatre, 2018), their three newest musicals explore unlikely (and sometimes unlikeable) characters behaving badly.

The Muny announced today its full cast and design teams for Disney's The Little Mermaid, the second production of its 99th season, which plays June 20-29. Disney's The Little Mermaid is proudly sponsored by Emerson.
