Kiln Theatre, Antic Productions and Damsel Productions have announced the full cast and creative team for The Ministry of Lesbian Affairs, Iman Qureshi's musical comedy about community, belonging, and the power of finding your voice.

Multiple Casualty Incident by Sami Ibrahim, a play about a group of individuals in a London training centre, preparing to help people in crisis on another side of the world opens at The Yard Theatre, Hackney Wick on 27 April.

Park Avenue Armory has announced the full ensemble for the North American premiere of Robert Icke’s critically acclaimed production The Doctor. 

For those aged 30 and under, there will be exclusive £20 and £30 tickets in the stalls and dress circle available for every Sunday matinee as part of The Doctor's commitment to audience development.

Adam Kay, the multi award-winning writer of the bestselling book This is Going to Hurt, which was recently adapted for the BBC starring Ben Whishaw, will be part of a post-show Q&A, following a performance of the critically acclaimed play, The Doctor.

The Doctor, by Robert Icke, very freely adapted from Professor Bernhardi by Arthur Schnitzler, opened at the Almeida in August 2019, with Juliet Stevenson in the title role. This is their third collaboration together to transfer to the West End. Get a first look at photos here!

All new rehearsal photos have been released for The Doctor, opening at Brighton Theatre Royal  next month.

Joining the previously announced, Juliet Stevenson, and returning to the production are Christopher Osikanlu Colquhoun (The Lion King), Mariah Louca (Best Of Enemies), Daniel Rabin(King Lear), Naomi Wirthner (An Evening At The Talkhouse) and Hannah Ledwidge on drums.

Playwright Iman Qureshi said she wanted to make the show “a lesbian mecca”, and she has done exactly that. As her play The Ministry of Lesbian Affairs unfolds, the theatre echoes with raucous laughter, murmurs of agreement, and gasps of outrage. The show is a true celebration of lesbian identity - immensely necessary but also, immensely fun.

Soho Theatre and Damsel Productions, the theatre company championing women's untold stories, announces the eight-strong cast for the premiere of award-winning writer Iman Qureshi's latest play, The Ministry of Lesbian Affairs. Directed by Hannah Hauer-King, this heart-warming play with songs will be Soho Theatre's new-writing highlight of the season, forming part of its spring/summer 2022 programme. 

As rehearsals for its tour and West End transfer commence, multi-award winning actress Juliet Stevenson jointly wins the acclaimed Best Actress award at this year's Critics' Circle Theatre Awards for her portrayal of Dr Ruth Wolff in director, Robert Icke's (The Wild Duck, Hamlet, Mary Stuart, Oresteia, 1984) sold-out, five-star Almeida Theatre production of The Doctor.

The Doctor is Robert Icke's final production in his role as Associate Director of the Almeida as he departs to pursue freelance projects. Let's see what the critics had to say.
