Lyrics and Lyricists will present MISS: Broadway’s Women Songwriters on December 10, 11 and 12, celebrating Broadway’s long history of women songwriters and their indelible work, in a show conceived, co-written and co-hosted by two-time Tony nominee Kate Baldwin and award-winning composer-lyricist Georgia Stitt.

The gala honored musical theater legend Leslie Uggams  with the 2022 Oscar Hammerstein Award for Outstanding Achievement in Musical Theater, which will be presented by Dionne Warwick. Ted Chapin was also honored with The York Theatre Company Founders' Award, presented by his daughters Anika and Zoë Chapin. The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center will ring in the 2022 holiday season with its first ever Winter Cabaret Series running December 15 through December 18. Tthe line-up will feature an array of accomplished Broadway and cabaret favorites, who will perform festive, holiday-themed shows.

CLUB44 RECORDS released Christmas at Birdland (Deluxe Edition) in all digital and streaming platforms on Friday, November 11. Michael Childers “One Night Only' celebrates its 16th year in the desert with “New York, New York” on November 9, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. This year’s theme is all about New York in all its glory from Harlem and the Cotton Club to Broadway and 42nd Street to Studio 54. All proceeds benefit The Barbara Sinatra Children's Foundation. Once again the creative team is helmed by director Scott Coulter and musical director Todd Schroeder. Terre Blair Hamlisch joined the cast of The Nutty Professor on stage Saturday, August 6 at Ogunquit Playhouse to pay tribute to her late husband, Marvin Hamlisch, on the 10th anniversary of his passing. The Nutty Professor was the last stage musical that Marvin Hamlisch completed before the composer died.
