All new photos have been released from Monday evening’s YORK THEATRE COMPANY Gala. Patti LuPone received the 31st Oscar Hammerstein Award For Outstanding Achievement in Musical Theater and Jamie DeRoy was honored with The York Theatre Founders’ Award.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present the 14th Annual “A Swinging Birdland Christmas” for five performances from Thursday, December 21 to Monday, December 25 at 5:30 PM.

The Church of St. Paul the Apostle will present New York's newest holiday tradition, Christmas Time in the City, a holiday concert celebrating the magic that lights up the city at Christmas.

The York Theatre Company has released first look photos of the cast and creative team for its production of Golden Rainbow, with book by Ernest Kinoy and music and lyrics by Walter Marks, the third offering of the Fall 2023 “Musicals in Mufti” series. Performances begin Saturday afternoon, September 23, 2023 and continue for 11 performances only through Sunday, October 1, 2023.

Due to illness, Broadway's Max Von Essen was unable to perform the lead role of Larry Davis in the York Theatre Company’s “Musicals in Mufti” presentation of “GOLDEN RAINBOW,” so 89-year-old composer Walter Marks went on in his place. Check out photos from the event here!

Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center announces the return of “One Night Only' for the 17th year at the McCallum Theatre produced by Michael Childers with returning director Scott Coulter and musical director Todd Schroeder along with choreographer Jonathan Sharp. This year’s theme is “Las Vegas: The Golden Age, 1950-1970.” Patrons will take a step back in time for “Las Vegas: The Golden Age, 1950-1970” starring Debby Boone, Clint Holmes, Jennifer Leigh Warren (all 3 pictured) Klea Blackhurst, Billy Stritch, Carole J. It’s a shame that it took thirteen years to bring this extremely satisfying program back to the stage.
