On the 13 April, 2014, the Richard Rodgers Award-winning musical theatre duo Carner & Gregor brought a concert version of their new musical ISLAND SONG to the studio space at The Other Palace.

Audiences are invited to attend a special talkback with award-winning musical theater writer Sam Carner on Friday, March 13 at the Sunrise Civic Center. The talkback will take place following an 8 p.m. performance of his musical Island Song, staged by Measure for Measure Theatre. This talkback is an ideal opportunity for playwrights, songwriters and performers to learn about working in New York theater. He and fellow songwriter Derek Gregor form the songwriting team of Carner and Gregor. As collaborators, Carner and Gregor are best known for the musicals Island Song and Unlock'd, Measure for Measure Theatre's production of Island Song is the musical's Southeastern Regional Premiere. Island Song will run from Thursday, March 12 through Sunday, March 29.

This poignant, off-beat dramedy follows five 20- and 30-somethings as they take on New York City over the course of a year. These young hopefuls must work through their own complex relationships with ambition, distraction and the desire to connect.

As Broadway's smash hit musical Waitress gets ready to close up shop at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday January 5th, we're heading to the diner for a look back at the show's opening night! Later today, Broadway welcomes a brand new musical, JAGGED LITTLE PILL- an exhilarating new musical inspired by the themes and raw emotions laid bare in Alanis Morissette's seminal album of the same name. The show marks the return of Tony Award-winning director Diane Paulus, who brings it straight from its record-breaking, sold-out world premiere at American Repertory Theater last summer, where she has served as Artistic Director since 2008. Since then, five of Paulus' show have transferred to Broadway. Today, we're looking back at the other four!

Valley Youth Theatre (VYT) opens their 24TH production of A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas Tail, Friday, December 6, at 7:00 pm, at Valley Youth Theatre.  In addition to opening night, public performances include Saturdays and Sundays, December 7, 8, 14, 15 and 22 at 12:30 pm and 3:00 pm, as well as three performances on Saturday, December 21, at 11:00 am, 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm and two performances on Monday, December 23, at 10:00 am and 12:30 pm. The theatre is located at 525 North First Street, in Downtown Phoenix, and ticket prices begin at $17, when purchased as part of a 4-show package.

This week we're spotlighting Nadia DiGiallonardo is currently the music director for the Broadway production of Waitress at the Brooks Atkinson Theater, where she can be found playing and conducting Sara Bareilles' score most nights. She is also the music supervisor for the national tour and international companies of Waitress.

Today YouTube Originals premiered the trailer for the highly anticipated second season of their original series LIZA ON DEMAND.  Following more than 38 million views of the season one pilot, LIZA ON DEMAND will return with an all new season on September 25, 2019.  Fans can get excited for the second season by binge watching the first season, which will be made available for free starting today only on YouTube. For season two, episodes will be available for free and release weekly every Wednesday. All episodes will be available to binge on launch day for YouTube Premium subscribers.

A dynamic female-led production led by a gifted self-taught first time filmmaker. Lupo tackles the complex filmmaking disciplines of directing, writing and editing while emerging as the voice of a generation. "In Reality" speaks to our search for love in a world overcome with friend-zone frenzy and erratic hook-ups masquerading love. The filmmakers have chosen to partner with Giant Pictures to release the film theatrically in Los Angeles, CA on March 29th, 2019, before expanding into other markets as it will also make its VOD/Digital debut on April 2nd, 2019 alongside its theatrical run.
