Back for its 7th year, the '2010 VH1 Hip Hop Honors' will celebrate the achievements of hip hop with a little southern twist. This year, the show will celebrate the music, the influence and the artists from The South. Honorees Jermaine Dupri, J Prince of Rap-A-Lot Records, Luther 'Luke' Campbell, The 2 Live Crew, Master P, and Organized Noize will be honored through performances in collaboration with some of today's hottest talent. Hosted by Craig Robinson, '2010 VH1 Hip Hop Honors: The Dirty South' will tape from NYC's Hammerstein Ballroom and air on VH1 on Monday, June 7 at 9:00 PM ET/PT.

CMT is heating up the summer with a variety of music-related programming, including new episodes of the hit series CMT CROSSROADS and all-new episodes of CMT's highest rated show SINGING BEE when CMT SUMMER OF MUSIC kicks-off Wednesday, June 9 with the 2010 CMT MUSIC AWARDS broadcasting live from Nashville. In addition to new premieres, the summer lineup will feature country's hottest stars and include video premieres from nine different artists during CMT BIG NEW MUSIC WEEKEND.

VH1's hugely successful annual tribute to the force that is hip hop music, culture and influence returns in June for a seventh time with VH1 Hip Hop Honors: The Dirty South.

New music is set to explode on the 2010 CMT MUSIC AWARDS stage, with the addition of Jamey Johnson, LeAnn Rimes, Keith Urban and John Mayer to the performance line-up. Johnson will debut 'Macon', a moody Southern-rock infused song from his upcoming fall release, while Rimes will perform a fully-choreographed number during her powerful and contemporary rendition of the John Anderson classic, 'Swingin',' from her forthcoming album Lady and Gentlemen.

After the lights have dimmed on stage and the music stops for the night, Bret rolls off the tour bus right into the loving arms of his daughters Raine and Jorja, who affectionately refer to him as 'Poppa Rocka.' The half-hour special will premiere Memorial Day, Monday, May 31st at 10PM ET/PT followed by the series premiere of Dad Camp at 10:30PM ET/PT. The series Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It is tentatively scheduled to premiere in Fall 2010.

This morning, Laura Bell Bundy and CMT's Evan Farmer announced the nominees for the 2010 CMT Awards, and Broadway-turned-country star got a very welcomed surprise - she herself earned a nomination for Best Breakthrough Video of the Year for 'Giddy on Up,' the first single off of her newest album, Achin' and Shakin.' The CMT Awards will be Broadcast live on June 9 on Country Music Television at 8 p.m. ET. Kid Rock hosts this year's ceremony.
