Showtime Documentary Films today revealed the official poster and trailer for SHANGRI-LA and announced the four-part docu-series, a collaboration from Academy Award® and Emmy® winner Morgan Neville (Won't You Be My Neighbor, 20 Feet From Stardom), legendary music producer Rick Rubin, and director Jeff Malmberg (Marwencol) will premiere on Friday, July 12 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. While new episodes ofSHANGRI-LA will be released on SHOWTIME linear channels weekly, all four will be available immediately on July 12 for on-demand streaming, via the SHOWTIME and SHOWTIME ANYTIME apps and partnering on-demand platforms. With Rubin's iconic studio in Malibu as the backdrop, SHANGRI-LAis a four-part docu-series that focuses on creative conversation and the emotional side of music-making. Neville directed the first two episodes of the series, and the final two are directed by Malmberg.

Producers of the 7thannual Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam took to social media today to reveal the full lineup for this year's Country On The Coast festival, simultaneously announcing some of the biggest names in music on the Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam and Visit Panama City Beach Facebook pages. Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean and Kid Rock have already been named as this year's headliners, and they will be followed by Midland, LANCO, LOCASH, The Cadillac Three, Big & Rich and Gretchen Wilson.

The soulful, euphoric track, which premiered via Billboard yesterday who described it as having 'a shimmering Phil Spector quality,' conjures up visions of young love, summer nights and a simpler era when Girl Groups dominated the airwaves. 'Growing up, The Shirelles, The Chiffons, The Ronettes, The Crystals and The Shangri-Las were really important to me,' says Little Steven aka Steven Van Zandt. 'This song is my take on the type of song I might have written for a Girl Group like one of those fantastic acts back in the day.'

The Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts, UC Davis announces its 18th season of performing arts, filled with the leading artists in music, dance and theater alongside an insightful group of speakers. The season begins on Sunday, September 29, with a family-friendly performance from gospel true-believers Trey McLaughlin & The Sounds of Zamar and concludes June 7, 2020 with the Alexander String Quartet finishing a two-year cycle of the complete Shostakovich string quartets.

American rock band Royal Bliss released a new single titled 'Pain' that impacted radio April 2, 2019. In support of the single, Royal Bliss will hit the road supporting Through Fire on the All Animal Tour. The tour will make 18 stops around the U.S. kicking off on May 12th in Denver, CO at The Oriental Theater and wrapping up June 1st in Atlanta, GA at The Masquerade (Hell). CMT announced today GRAMMY-winning group Boyz II Men will join multi-PLATINUM selling artist Brett Young for the next installment of 'CMT Crossroads.' The one-hour show premieres Wednesday, March 27 at 10pm ET/PT and features the artists collaborating on each other's hits. The news comes on the heels of strong growth as CMT recently notched eight consecutive quarters of year-over-year ratings and share growth in Prime among Adults 18-49.
