Second Stage is partnering with Assemble Stream to offer simulcasts of its current Broadway production of Lynn Nottage’s play, CLYDE’S, directed by Kate Whoriskey, for the final two weeks of its run, January 4 – 16, 2022, allowing theater fans who aren’t able to attend in person the opportunity to witness a live Broadway performance from home.

A groundbreaking exhibition documents the image, influence, and activism of Angela Davis. Angela Davis—Seize the Time was developed at the Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University, where it is now on view. Brooklyn performance and civic space JACK has announced a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, September 14 at 11 a.m. to officially open its new space at 20 Putnam Ave in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. The ceremony was originally planned for spring of 2020, and was delayed because of the pandemic.
