Today's Performances of TAMBO & BONES at the Kirk Douglas Theatre Cancelled Due to Covid

The Kirk and Douglas Theatre has released a statement that all performances of 'Tambo & Bones' have been cancelled for today, May 29th. Despite robust measures being in place, a breakthrough COVID-19 case has been detected within the company of ‘Tambo & Bones.’ For the wellness and safety of our guests, cast, and crew, today’s 1:00pm and 6:30pm performances at the Douglas are cancelled.
FOR COLORED GIRLS… Announces Special American Sign Language Performance

The seven-time Tony-nominated Broadway revival of Ntozake Shange’s for colored girls who have considered suicide/ when the rainbow is enuf will have a special American Sign Language performance on Tuesday, May 31, following the success of the first ASL signed performance the production had on April 15, 2022.

Following an earlier announcement that the show must close, the most Tony nominated play currently on Broadway, the critically acclaimed and reimagined revival of Ntozake Shange’s groundbreaking for colored girls who have considered suicide/ when the rainbow is enuf, will now play an additional two weeks through Sunday, June 5 at Broadway’s Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street). The previously announced final performance was Sunday, May 22.

The Broadway revival of Ntozake Shange's for colored girls who have considered suicide/ when the rainbow is enuf, directed and choreographed by Tony Award nominee Camille A. Brown opened just last night at the Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street). BroadwayWorld was on hand for the big night and you can check out photos from the after party festivities.
