Actress and producer Rachael Harris is set to host the 11th Annual Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) Awards, bringing her quick wit and talent to the star-studded event. The gala will take place on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.

With 15 nominations, FX’s The Bear was the most nominated series this year, followed by Max’s Hacks and Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building with 13 each. ABC’s Abbott Elementary and CBS’s Ghosts are tied for third place, with 11 nominations each.

The world-famous Comedy Cellar has announced the July 2024 lineup for its first West Coast location, an exact replica of its New York club, at Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

On the heels of The Daily Show’s runaway success, Jon Stewart will host LIVE shows following the closing night of the Republican & Democratic National Conventions. Stewart will host on Thursday, July 18th from Milwaukee and Thursday August 22nd from Chicago with the News Team sharing hosting duties throughout both Conventions as part of the show’s legacy on-the-ground election coverage, Indecision 2024.

On the heels of The Daily Show’s runaway success, the EMMY® award-winning franchise announced that Jon Stewart will host special live episodes of The Daily Show following the presidential debates between President Joe Biden and former President Donald J. Trump scheduled for Thursday, June 27th, and Tuesday, September 10th.

Jon Stewart will return to The Daily Show desk tonight followed by Jordan Klepper Tuesday - Thursday at 11 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central, with the episode available on Paramount+ the next morning. Stewart will continue to host alongside The Daily Show’s all-star News Team, including Ronny Chieng,  Desi Lydic,  Jordan Klepper and Michael Kosta alongside Dulcé Sloan and Lewis Black.

Wiancko is more about theming each of the 11 concerts in the chamber series, more about the Zen of each program. Nuttall was laid-back and West Coast in his attitude: If you want to applaud between movements, go right ahead. A couple of times, Wiancko took what seemed like a Far Eastern approach, requesting that we withhold applause between works.

McCarter Theatre Center has announced its 2024-2025 Dance Series – featuring Ballet Hispánico, SW!NG OUT from superstar choreographer Caleb Teicher, Noli Timere – a new collaboration between Director/Choreographer/Princeton University Professor Rebecca Lazier and sculptor Janet Echelman, Seoul-based Bereishit Dance Company, and Twyla Tharp Dance. Over the course of six live episodes, the comically unconventional show will feature Mulaney along with special guests and field pieces all shot in Los Angeles.
