BAM (The Brooklyn Academy of Music) has announced the full company for the world premiere of the new musical Safety Not Guaranteed, directed by Lee Sunday Evans, at the BAM Harvey Theater beginning September 17 through October 20, 2024. 

The Heart of Rock and Roll has played its final performance on Broadway. Today, one of the show's stars, Corey Cott, celebrated his run in the show with a post paying tribute to his time in the cast, along with a video of Corey belting out, 'The Only One' for the final time on Broadway. The Heart of Rock and Roll will play its final performance on Broadway on Sunday, June 23rd at 3pm. At the time of closing, the show will have played 24 previews and 72 performances.

Today, June 23, 2024, Broadway says goodbye to two limited-run productions and one open-run production. An Enemy of the People takes its final bow at the Circle in the Square Theatre following 23 previews and 112 regular performances; Patriots will conclude its run at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre following 21 previews and 72 regular performances; and The Heart of Rock and Roll concludes at the James Earl Jones Theatre following 24 previews and 72 regular performances.

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of the Broadway musical The Heart of Rock and Roll will be released on Friday, June 14 and will be available on all music streaming services.  Learn more about how to pre-save the album here!
