Pasadena Playhouse has extended its upcoming production of Peter Shaffer’s Amadeus even before performances begin! Pasadena Playhouse will present a fifth and final week of performances.  

Pasadena Playhouse will present 'MICRO MOZART', a unique series developed in partnership with the Pasadena Conservatory of Music, showcasing classical music performances.

Pasadena Playhouse has share first look photos of the stars of Amadeus, Tony Award winner Jefferson Mays (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, I Am My Own Wife) as Salieri and Broadway’s Sam Clemmett (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story) as Mozart. 

The full cast and creative team has been revealed for Pasadena Playhouse's upcoming production of Peter Shaffer’s Amadeus, directed by Tony Award-winner Darko Tresnjak.

The Vagrancy will present a world premiere staged reading as part of Blossoming 2025, its celebrated new play development series. The reading will take place Wednesday, May 21 at 7 PM at Skylight Theatre.

Up next for IAMA, John Lavelle’s The Very Best People opening October 5, 2024, at Atwater Village (with previews September 29th through October 4th). Melissa Coleman-reed directs the cast of Adrián González, Andria Kozica, Bryan Langlitz, Joseph Russo and Margaux Susi. Margaux, also IAMA’s associate artistic director, made time to talk to me before going to rehearsal.
