The Flynn has announced a new campaign for educators: Treat Our Teachers, a community program that gives teachers free tickets to shows at the Flynn. Anyone can nominate a teacher of their choice to be a part of the drawing.

Symphony Space will present Wall to Wall Selected Shorts, employing the day-long-marathon approach of its Wall to Wall series in a monumental celebration of the organization’s pioneering literature-in-performance program, Selected Shorts, March 26 in Symphony Space’s Peter Jay Sharp theater in New York City.

Peacock has released the official trailer for Joe vs Carole, the new limited series based on Tiger King stars Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin. John Cameron Mitchell and Kate McKinnon star in the new series. The cast also includes Kyle MacLachlan, Brian Van Holt, Sam Keeley, Nat Wolf, Marlo Kelly, William Fichtner, Dean Winters, and David Wenham.

The Tony Award-winning glam rock musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch returns to Portland Center Stage after a sell-out run in 2020. Local powerhouses Delphon “DJ” Curtis Jr. and Ithica Tell return to blow the roof off The Armory’s Ellyn Bye Studio, in this bold take on the celebrated musical, directed by Chip Miller, PCS’s Associate Artistic Director.

Hedwig and the Angry Inch is an indie rock musical that started it's life off-broadway and put the phenomenal John Cameron Mitchell on the map. That successful indie rock musical made its way to the big screen where it solidified itself as a cult classic in musical theatre and gay culture.

Following an entire year without live entertainment due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Israeli audiences are getting back to the theatre. HEDWIG will return for for additional performances December 2nd through 23rd.

Revolutionary punk-rock sensation Hedwig and the Angry Inch is coming to Olney Theatre Center this winter (November 26, 2021 to January 2, 2022) starring Mason Alexander Park, who earned a Helen Hayes Award for Best Leading Performer in a Musical for their role as the Emcee in Olney’s 2019 production of Cabaret. 

The Flynn reopened it's doors on Saturday, October 23. The house was full as the Flynn welcomed the community back to the historic theater with a Grand Reopening Celebration. This event marked the first time the theater has been open to the public since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

John Cameron Mitchell’s Shortbus will be re-released in theaters with a new 4k restoration for its 15th anniversary! The film opens at the IFC Center in New York on January 26th, 2022 with a larger theatrical release to follow. Watch the trailer for this film now!

Baryshnikov Arts Center will present the world premiere of GhostFolk by Brooklyn-based comedian, musician, and writer River L. Ramirez.
