Critics have weighed in on KPOP, starring K-pop superstar Luna as MwE, directed by Teddy Bergman, with a book by Jason Kim, and music and lyrics by Max Vernon. KPOP officially opened on Sunday, November 27th at the Circle in the Square Theatre.

Last night, history was made on Broadway as the musical sensation KPOP marked their opening celebration, ahead of the show’s official opening night on November 27. BroadwayWorld was there for the big night and you can check out photos from the curtain call here!

KPOP, the new Broadway musical, celebrates its opening tonight, November 20. KPOP is the first completely original musical on Broadway this year. Full casting and the 2022-23 tour route have been announced for the North American Tour of Beetlejuice the Musical. After its first public performance in Paducah, KY, the tour will officially launch in December at the Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco, CA before haunting 27 cities across North America with more dates to be announced shortly. It's showtime! The ghost-with-the-most will make his Triangle debut in this edgy and irreverent new Broadway musical comedy. BEETLEJUICE will play DPAC from April 11 – 16, as part of Truist Broadway at DPAC.

Broadway in Cincinnati announced that the individual tickets for the tour of ANASTASIA will go on sale tomorrow, Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. as part of the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Cincinnati series presented by TriHealth.

BEETLEJUICE will officially close on Broadway on Sunday, January 8, 2023. When BEETLEJUICE makes its final Broadway bow, it will have played 27 previews at the Winter Garden Theatre and 366 regular performances, and 313 regular performances during its resurrection at Broadways’ Marquis Theater, for a total of 679 Broadway performances.
