This October, Paper Kite Arts will be launching a series of all new virtual classes for students aged 10 to adult. The program's inaugural offering will feature four classes.

Long Island's newest year-round professional theatrical venue, The Argyle Theatre (Mark and Dylan Perlman, Managing Partners; Evan Pappas, Artistic Director), will present the hit Broadway musical Cabaret with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and book by Joe Masteroff, based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood. Performances begin Thursday, March 12, 2020 for a limited engagement through Sunday afternoon, April 19, 2020 at The Argyle Theatre (34 West Main Street, Babylon, Long Island). Opening Night is Saturday evening, March 14, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. Cabaret is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).

A new celebratory monthly series launches at Feinstein's/54 Below, Monday, February 10, 2020 at 7 PM with The February Birthday Show! featuring famous songs by famous people born this month!

Additional casting has been announced for the one-night only concert presentation of the holiday classic Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol on Monday, December 16 at 7:30 pm at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College (524 W. 59th St.). The evening will be directed by Carl Andress with choreography by Nathan Peck, based on original choreography by Marcos Santana. Grammy Award and Emmy Award-winner John McDaniel has written new orchestrations for the score and will serve at the evening's music director, conducting a 28 piece on stage orchestra.

Continuing the celebration of its 50th Anniversary year, The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and rediscovery of musical gems from the past, will present a concert performance of Still Getting My Act Together, a sequel to the Off-Broadway hit musical I'm Getting My Act Together and Taking it On the Road, with book & lyrics by Gretchen Cryer and music by Nancy Ford.

MC Theatrical Productions today announced that it will present MIDNIGHT STREET, a dramatic new musical written and directed by Arnold L. Cohen, with music direction by Matt Castle, May 29th - June 22nd at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street). The official opening will be on Wednesday, June 5th at 7PM.

Chick Flick the Musical, the new musical comedy with book, music and lyrics by Suzy Conn and directed by David Ruttura will close at The Westside Theatre on Sunday, March 16, 2019. At the time of closing, the show will have played 11 previews and 12 performances.
