Celebrating the overall success of The Philadelphia Eagles NFC Championship season, Bucks County Playhouse will create and produce an all-new production of Ray Didinger's autobiographical play, “Tommy and Me,” at the Playhouse in New Hope, May 19 to June 20. Nick Corley will direct.
Bucks County Playhouse Will Hold Costume Department Holiday Sale in December

The costume department at Bucks County Playhouse will open its wardrobe room for a holiday sale — offering a wide collection of festive frocks, and everyday ready-to-wear clothing, for sale to the public on Saturday, December 3 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. A special invitation-only preview night will be on Friday, December 2.

Bucks County Playhouse’s production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber–Tim Rice musical “Evita” continues through October 30. The Playhouse released a montage of scenes from the production—including portions of 'Don’t Cry for Me Argentina,” “Another Suitcase in Another Hall,” and “And the Money Kept Rolling In (And Out)”. Bucks County Playhouse Youth Company is Searching for Boys 13-18 for Production of ALiEN8

Bucks County Playhouse Youth Company is accepting video audition submissions for five male roles (ages 13-18) for their upcoming production of “ALiEN8.” Audition submissions should include the following: auditioner’s name and age, singing 16-32 bars of any song, as well as reading each audition scene as Ethan, Zach, Brasfield, and Ray Berry. When the award-winning actress and playwright, Jodi Long, took her first steps on the Broadway stage in Sidney Lumet's production of “Nowhere to Go But Up,” she was entering a professional world that ran through her family's bloodline. Her Vaudevillian parents had long trod the boards – in fact, as part of a popular song and dance act, they even appeared on the Ed Sullivan show in the 1950s.

The producers of Bucks County Playhouse have shared some archival history to honor the life and career of actor of Jessica Walter, who died today, March 25, 2021. She began her professional career in 1958 at the Playhouse in New Hope, PA as an acting apprentice.
