When he’s not filming his CNBC primetime series “Jay Leno’s Garage” or on air with “Last Man Standing” and “You Bet Your Life,” or working on his impressive collection of classic cars and motorcycles, Jay Leno performs more than 200 stand-up shows annually across the country and internationally. Accurately dubbed “the hardest working man in show business,” Leno will be taking center stage performing TWO SHOWS at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 4:00 and 7:00pm.

Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) announces a brand new edition of Jokes on Main, its comedy series featuring the Tri-State's funniest stand-up comedians, Steve Shaffer, John McClellan, Patty Rosborough & Rich Aronovitch on Friday, June 24 at 8:00pm. Celebrate The Phantom of the Opera and the best of Broadway as Chris Mann (Star of The Phantom of the Opera and NBC's The Voice) is joined by special “Phantom” co-stars Krista Buccallato (Christine u/s in The Phantom of the Opera) and Adam Machart (The Wick Theatre's Brigadoon) for “Phantom Voices” – a limited, not-to-be-missed concert engagement.

On Monday, May 9, Tony Award-winner Debbie Gravitte stormed the Birdland stage with another episode of her series “Plus 1,” with very special guest, songwriter Marc Shaiman. 

Her special guests for May 9 will include NaTasha Yvette Williams (Waitress), Christian Thompson (Ain’t Too Proud), and Hayley Podschun (Wicked), in addition to students from the Manhattan School of Music. Each show has a $40 music charge. Birdland is located at 315 West 44th Street in New York.

BIRDLAND THEATER will present John Manzari – the acclaimed dancer, singer, actor, and choreographer currently appearing on Broadway in Funny Girl – in a special event on Monday, May 23 at 8:30 PM.

The Green Room 42 has announced their May line-up for in-person performances. Located inside YOTEL Times Square (570 Tenth Avenue, Fourth Floor), The Green Room 42 is Broadway's newest and most spacious cabaret club.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present Nashville vocalist Wendy Moten – best known for her 2021 run on NBC’s “The Voice” – in a special concert on Monday, May 16 at 7:00 PM. Her show will include songwriter Richard Whiting hits including “He’s Funny That Way,” “My Ideal,” “Miss Brown,” and “Too Marvelous For Words.”

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present acclaimed vocalist and songwriter Amanda McBroom in her new show “Crimes of the Heart” on Monday, May 2 at 7:00 PM. McBroom’s concert will feature songs of passion, politics, and just plain love, written by the likes of Stephen Sondheim, Irving Berlin, Leonard Cohen, and of course, Amanda McBroom.

After re-opening the doors of The Marsh Berkeley in August 2021, performing to sold out crowds and standing ovations, fan favorite Don Reed will return to The Marsh San Francisco with Going Out, with new material added.

On Monday, April 11, Tony winner Debbie Gravitte premiered her new series “Debbie Gravitte Plus One” on the Birdland stage.  She welcomed her longtime friend Stephen Schwartz for some friendly conversation and intimate performances of his most beloved songs. 

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present acclaimed vocalist Karen Akers in the new show “Water Under the Bridge” on Monday, April 25 at 7:00 PM.

After hundreds of sold out performances and critical acclaim from his tour across the country, magician Michael Carbonaro will take over Las Vegas starting this Memorial Day weekend with his limited engagement, “Penn & Teller Present: Michael Carbonaro: Lies on Stage” at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. 

Legendary comedian and longtime Tonight Show host, Jay Leno returns The Ridgefield Playhouse!  This stand-up comedian, pioneering car builder and mechanic returns to his comedy roots with two special performances. 

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present vocalist and pianist Steve Ross – widely heralded as “The Crown Prince of New York Cabaret” – in a special show celebrating spring on Monday, April 18 at 7:00 PM.

The ONLY nationally touring tribute to Eric Clapton Journeyman featuring Shaun Hague comes to Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) on Saturday, April 23 at 8:00PM. Lobby and bar concessions open at 7pm.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present Tony Award-winner Debbie Gravitte in a special residency “Debbie Plus One” starting Monday, April 11 at 7:00 PM. Gravitte has been in theater long enough to have made some very special friends, and she welcomes Stephen Schwartz (April 11), Marc Shaiman (May 9), and Harvey Fierstein (September 12).

Production designer and creative director David Korins returns to the Oscars, having been the designer in 2019. Korins’s prolific work for Broadway includes the Tony® Award-winning musicals “Hamilton” and “Dear Evan Hansen,” as well as “Beetlejuice.' He has also designed for Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Andrea Bocelli, and more.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present Karen Mason in her show “Kander & Ebb…And All That Jazz” on Monday, March 28 at 7:00 PM. The evening honors John Kander and Fred Ebb, the Tony Award-winning songwriters behind Broadway’s Cabaret, Chicago and more.
