59E59 Theaters has announced productions for the Brits Off Broadway 2023 Season, their annual celebration of U.K. theatre.

Rehearsal images of the critically acclaimed FOXES at the Seven Dials Playhouse have been released. Coming to Seven Dials Playhouse for a limited season this summer following runs at Theatre503 and Theatre Peckham, FOXES tells a deeply moving and complex story of family, community and sexual identity, tackling the Black gay experience with tenderness and beautiful depth.

Following the European premiere of Steve which launched the exciting new Covent Garden venue, Seven Dials Playhouse will now present ground-breaking plays Diary of a Somebody and FOXES for the remainder of their Spring 2022 season.

The remaining in person performances of FOXES at Theatre503 have been called due to a confirmed positive case of C-19 in one of the cast. 

Audiences will have a further chance to witness Dexter Flanders' powerful debut play FOXES this autumn as part of Theatre503's new live streaming programme, before a strictly limited run at Theatre Peckham.

Michael Fatogan (Sweet Like Chocolate Boy, Tobacco Factory Theatre) and Anyebe Godwin (Little Baby Jesus, Orange Tree Theatre) will bring to life Dexter Flanders' powerful debut play FOXES at Theatre503 this October.

Following the sold-out live run of Gemma Lawrence's Sunnymead Court at The Actors Centre in September, the critically acclaimed production is set to return as part of The Actors Centre's On Demand programme, available to stream from 7.30pm on Friday 18 December until Sunday 3 January 2021.

Presented by Defibrillator, in conjunction with The Actors' Centre, Gemma Lawrence's new play Sunnymead Court is a two-hander tale for our times. When Marie, thin, nervy, introverted, states she dreams of becoming a brain in a jar without the burden of a physical body, we know she will have problems reaching out for real contact. A regular piece of music she plays brings Stella, a confident and ongoing person who just wants to get sweaty again dancing with her mates.

Defibrillator and Theatre503, in association with Minty Fresh Productions, today announce the première of Dexter Flanders' Foxes at Theatre503. Artistic Director of Defibrillator James Hillier directs, with the production opening on 28 April, with previews from 22 April, and running until 16 May.
