Pasadena Playhouse, the State Theater of California, is pleased to announce that casting is complete for the Los Angeles premiere of Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa's Good Boys starring Betsy Brandt (CBS' Life in Pieces, and AMC's Breaking Bad) as Elizabeth Hardy, and directed by Carolyn Cantor on the mainstage of Pasadena Playhouse. The production will play June 26 through Sunday July 21; the press opening is June 30 at 5:00pm.

It was announced today that Theatrical Group, Universal Pictures' live theatre division, has reached an agreement with Barry Gibb, Yvonne Gibb, and the Estate of Robin Gibb to develop a biographical stage musical based on the life story and music of The Bee Gees. A cast of Broadway faves are currently taking part in a developmental presentation of a brand new musical.

With the SOHO International Film Festival kicking off this Thursday, June 15th and running through Thursday, June 22nd with nearly 80 films being exhibited and making premieres, stars from all walks of life are set to converge on at Village East Cinemas (189 2nd Avenue on 12th Street) for #SOHO8!

The first was the 1988 original film, the second was the 2002 Broadway musical, the third was its 2007 film adaptation, and then the 2016 live television production on NBC. As a Welcome to the 60's, let's go back to beginning to learn the history of the property itself.
