Award-winning comedian Rhonda “Passion” Hansome will perform at the Eat Drink Laugh comedy showcase at Pangea in Manhattan on Saturday, August 23. The Brooklyn-born comic, known for appearances on Saturday Night Live, Louie, and Showtime at the Apollo, will join a lineup of New York comedy talent.

The evening drew 100 distinguished authors spanning genres from fiction to memoir, with a notable contingent from the world of theater, blending stagecraft with storytelling for an enthusiastic crowd.

The new theatrical one-man show, JEFF ROSS: TAKE A BANANA FOR THE RIDE, will offer an in-person rush policy, in addition to the previously announced digital ticket lottery policy.

Ahead of Jeff Ross's Broadway debut in Take A Banana For The Ride, the comedian visited The View to preview the new production and explained why he decided to do the show now, having first written it 30 years ago. Watch the full interview here!
