Sundance Institute will curate dozens of offscreen events, including behind-the-scenes panels on the art of filmmaking, musical performances and a?" around the theme of Imagined Futures a?" a public Bonfire and several extended post-screening conversations (known as IF Screenings), at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival taking place in Park City, Salt Lake City, and Sundance, Utah, January 23 through February 2, 2020.

Sundance Institute will gather 25 celebrated and revered expert voices across film, art, culture and science to award feature-length and short films shown at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival with 31 prizes, announced at a ceremony February 1. Short Film Awards will be announced at a separate ceremony on January 28. The Festival takes place January 23 through February 2 in Park City, Salt Lake City and Sundance, Utah.

Executive Producer, Jeremy Handelman / Off The Leash Productions, LLC with Times Sq Productions, LLC will present an invite-only, industry presentation of Stephen Lloyd Helper's Up and Down, starring Mary Bacon (Broadway: Rock and Roll, Arcadia), Robert Creighton (Broadway: Disney's FROZEN. NYC: Cagney) and Isabella Rossellini (Film: Blue Velvet, Death Becomes Her). The presentation will take place on Thursday, November 21 and Friday, November 22 at Manhattan Theatre Club Studios (311 West 43rd Street). 

On December 14th, Isabella Rossellini will headline in a one-night only show in support of the Gateway. On this festive evening, she will perform selections from her ever-popular Sundance Channel series MAMMAS about instinct in animals.  Since 2008  Isabella has conceived, written, and directed several short comical films about animal behaviors.

Now after more than two decades, the Bottino team decided to renew the lease, refreshing the décor and bringing on a new executive chef/partner. The welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant and its appeal to the art world remain the same (along with many of the long-time staff), but Executive Chef/Partner Jamie Kenyon is infusing new life into the menu to make Bottino more of a chef-driven restaurant.

Award-winning actress and filmmaker Isabella Rossellini takes inspiration from the natural world in her new theatricalized lecture, Link Link Circus, a smart yet comedic look at the links between humans and animals. Illustrated with short comic films, home movies, and animation, Link Link Circus addresses the latest scientific discoveries about animal minds, intelligence, and emotions. Joined onstage by various animals portrayed by Pan, her trained dog, Rossellini transforms herself into Aristotle, Descartes, F.S. The Broad Stage announces an expanded number of American Sign Language (ASL) interpreted performances for the 2019-2020 season in an effort to create an inclusive environment for all audience members and ensure that as many people as possible are able to experience the magic of live performance. The first ASL interpreted performance will be The Moth Mainstage in Los Angeles on October 4.

Baryshnikov Arts Center (BAC) will host its annual benefit to support BAC's programs on Monday, October 7, 2019, in the Jerome Robbins Theater and Howard Gilman Performance Space (450 West 37th Street, Manhattan).
