When Grant Maloy Smith performs traditional Christmas songs, he does so in a non-traditional way. The multi-award-winning singer/songwriter’s latest album, THE CHRISTMAS HEART (Tiger Turn/Suburban Cowboy Records), features 10 tracks, two of which are original while the rest offer a unique musical interpretation of classic tunes.

La Jolla Playhouse has announced the dates and projects for its 2022 DNA New Work Series, running December 1 – 12 in the Playhouse’s Rao and Padma Makineni Play Development Center.

The Resident Theatre at Edge of the Wood presents Arthur Miller's Tony Award winning play THE CRUCIBLE, directed by Chris Toft, running November 4 - 19, for 10 performances.

The video, directed by brother-sister duo Alexa and Stephen Kinigopoulos of Running Bear and produced by Strange Arcade, shows Williams defenseless and bare. Filmed at the Historic Belcourt Theatre in Hillsboro Village of Nashville, Tenn., the visual delicately details the fleeting woes and blissful moments of Williams’ life.

Following on from their sold out 35-date tour of the UK, Scottish pop duo The Proclaimers share that they will be returning to Australia in early 2023 for a national tour.  They kick off their tour in Perth on the 24th February 2023. Check out the complete list of tour dates now!

Nashville singer/songwriter Sam Williams releases Glasshouse Children: Tilted Crown, a deluxe version of his celebrated debut Glasshouse Children. The expanded edition features six new tracks, including the previously released “Ragdoll” as well as new song “Tilted Crown.”

This invariably happens with any complicated, first-time process, so the nonprofit organization ordered a recalculation of the scores in all 20 categories.

La Jolla Playhouse has announced the cast and creative team for its production of As You Like It, by William Shakespeare, co-directed by Tony Award winner Christopher Ashley, the Rich Family Artistic Director of La Jolla Playhouse, and Helen Hayes Award winner Will Davis. Actors’ Playhouse is bringing an exhilarating production about another musical legend, Hank Williams, to the iconic Coral Gables theatre in Hank Williams: Lost Highway. The production will run for a limited engagement through July 31, 2022 at the Miracle Theatre. Get a first look at photos here!

But July 22 also sees the opening of a brand new season at their new second location, the Simpsonville Arts Center. For their premiere prodcution in the space, MTP presents CHILDREN OF EDEN.
