Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) just announced that The Heart of Rock and Roll has joined the company’s catalogue of musicals. The Heart of Rock and Roll is a smart, funny, heartfelt throwback to the era of big feelings, classic rom-coms, and music that really “Stuck With You.”

Review: DRACULA, A COMEDY OF TERRORS, Menier Chocolate Factory

Vampires have always had that sexy je ne sais quoi. Whether they have ever been this sexy and this funny at the same time is a different question. Gordon Greenberg and Steve Rosen give Bram Stoker a run for his money with their sensational adaptation of the most famous of blood-suckers. Dracula, A Comedy of Terrors instantly went viral on TikTok when it ran Off-Broadway, ranking up over seven million views for a single snippet of their trailer. This is the lovechild of Mel Brooks and Monty Python, a side-splitting, rib-tickling, neck-biting, hysterically racy show. Charlie Stemp, Dianne Pilkington, Safeena Ladha, and Sebastien Torkia join James Daly, who reprises his role to introduce a pansexual count who’s been alive too long to care about social niceties. You’ll be screaming in laughter.

After sellout, foot-stomping previews at The Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh, Caledonia Productions and Gavin Kalin Productions have released production images from the record-breaking world premiere of Wild Rose, written by Nicole Taylor (One Day, Three Girls, The C Word, The Nest) and directed by John Tiffany (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Black Watch).

Interview: 'I'm Not a Horror Fan': Actor James Daly on Injuries, Superstitions and Bringing DRACULA, A COMEDY OF TERRORS to London

After a run off-Broadway at New World Stages, Dracula, A Comedy of Terrors is flying into the West End, landing at the Menier Chocolate Factory in March. The show is a ninety-minute comedic adaptation of the Bram Stoker classic, which follows the story of the vampire Dracula. Expect lots of multi-roling, quick-changes, gender-bending and laughters as Dracula and the rest of the characters travel to and from Transylvania and the UK!
