Cast Announced For THE RISE AND FALL OF LITTLE VOICE at Union Theatre

Casting has been announced for the Union Theatre's final show in its current home. THE RISE AND FALL OF LITTLE VOICE stars Charlotte Gorton (Memphis, Viva Forever!) as Mari Hoff, Carly Thoms (Thoroughly Modern Mille, Sound Of Music) as LV and Ken Christiansen (Lord Of The Flies, An Inspector Calls) as Ray Say, with Glenn Adamson as Billy, Mandy Dassa as Sadie and James Peake as Mr Boo/Phone man. Alastair Knights directs.

From March 22 to August 21, the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) presents Studio Job MAD HOUSE. This will be the first solo museum exhibition in the US to explore the creative vision of design collaborators Job Smeets (Belgian, b. 1970) and Nynke Tynagel (Dutch, b. 1977), who established their atelier Studio Job in Belgium in 2000.

From April 28 to September 27, 2015, the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) presents Pathmakers: Women in Art, Craft and Design, Midcentury and Today, an exhibition thatconsiders the notable contributions of women to modernism in postwar visual culture. In the 1950s and '60s, an era when painting, sculpture and architecture were dominated by men, women had extensive impact in alternative materials such as textiles, ceramics and metals. Largely unexamined in major art historical surveys, due to either their gender or their choice of materials, these pioneering women achieved success and international recognition, establishing a model of professional identity for future generations. Shannon Stratton Named Chief Curator of the Museum of Arts and Design

Lewis Kruger, Chairman of the Board of the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD), today announced the appointment of Shannon Stratton to the position of William and Mildred Lasdon Chief Curator, effective June 2015. In this role, Stratton will work closely with Nanette L. From today, March 10 to September 20, 2015, the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) presents Richard Estes: Painting New York City, the first exhibition of the art of Richard Estes to focus on the artist's technique and process, through an examination of his New York City paintings, prints, and photographs. Spanning from the mid-1960s to the present and featuring over forty paintings and works on paper, the exhibition is Estes' first New York City museum survey. It is also the first solo painting show in the history of the Museum of Arts and Design.
