In the play Six Italians, Seven Fishes, an Italian-American family is gathered at the home of Joe and Marie for Christmas Eve dinner prior to Midnight Mass. Dinner (the seven fishes, a family tradition) is on hold because Vinnie and his Polish wife Peony have not yet arrived.
Open-Door Playhouse Debuts JUST PLAYIN Next Week

Lee Franklin's play Just Playin' focuses on a group of men at a rustic cottage in Maine celebrating the 25th Anniversary of their regular poker game. The next day, their wives (in one case, an ex-wife) gather at the same cottage (after the guys have left) to play Mahjong. The Mahjong game is also marking its 25th Anniversary.

Award-winning actor/director/playwright and longtime Sierra Madrean, Frank Ferrante, recreates his PBS, New York and London acclaimed portrayal of legendary comedian Groucho Marx in this fast-paced 90 minutes of hilarity. The two-act comedy consists of the best Groucho one-liners, anecdotes and songs including 'Hooray For Captain Spalding,' and 'Lydia, the Tattooed Lady.' The audience literally becomes part of the show as Ferrante ad-libs his way throughout the performance in grand Groucho style.

Crown City Theatre Company (William A. Reilly and Gary Lamb, Artistic Directors) has announced a new production of The Legend of Georgia McBride by Matthew Lopez, directed and choreographed by Michael J. Marchak. The show will play two preview performances on Friday, November 22, and Saturday, November 23, at 8pm and is set to open on Sunday, November 24, at 3pm. The engagement will run through February 9, 2020.
