The Bridge Theatre officially reopened its doors on 27 August 2020 after a hiatus of five and a half months due to the covid-19 pandemic, with David Hare's monologue Beat the Devil, a new play written as a response to the author's experience of contracting coronavirus.

London Theatre Company has made plans to re-open the Bridge Theatre during September and October, assuming that the Government gives the go ahead for indoor performances with socially distanced audiences. 

Complicité's multi award-winning production The Encounter will be available through 25 May.
