Tickets for the exclusive West Coast production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the world’s most award-winning new play, are now on sale. Performances will resume at San Francisco’s Curran as a newly staged, one show magical adventure beginning on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

The Bridge Theatre has just announced that it will postpone upcoming performances of Back & Sons due to a COVID scare within its team.

The show has moved up its return and will be back on Broadway in just one part. Get the scoop! The show returns to the Curran in San Francisco on January 11, 2022. The Canadian premiere in Toronto will begin performances in May 2022 at the Ed Mirvish Theatre.

Tickets for the West End production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child are currently available for performances at the Palace Theatre until 27 March 2022 and remain priced from £15 per part, and for every performance there are over 300 tickets at £20 or less per part. 

Two young people and their dæmons, with everything at stake, find themselves at the centre of a terrifying manhunt. In their care is a tiny child called Lyra Belacqua, and in that child lies the fate of the future. And as the waters rise around them, powerful adversaries conspire for mastery of Dust: salvation to some, the source of infinite corruption to others.

Performances of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child begin at Broadway’s Lyric Theatre in New York on November 16, 2021. Broadway tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, July 12, 2021. Now, the show has been boldly restaged as one singular performance.

Directed by Nicholas Hytner, performances of Bach & Sons continue until 11 September 2021 with opening night on 28 June 2021. The associate director is James Cousins, with set designs by Vicki Mortimer, costumes designed by Khadija Raza, lighting by Jon Clark, sound by Gareth Fry and music supervised by George Fenton. 

Under Haydon's stewardship, the Rose's own work will be the priority, as demonstrated by the five Rose Originals in this upcoming season, but there will always be room on the theatre's stage for the country's leading touring shows as well.  This season's Rose Originals are a blend of new plays tackling significant contemporary issues and well-known titles reinvented for today.

Initial casting has been announced for the UK world premiere of the Disney musical adaptation of Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

Joining Simon Russell Beale who will play Johann Sebastian Bach in the world premiere of Nina Raine's Bach & Sons are Samuel Blenkin as Carl, Pandora Colin as Maria Barbara, Ruth Lass as Katharina, Douggie McMeekin as Wilhelm, Racheal Ofori as Anna Magdalena and Pravessh Rana as Frederick the Great.

New tickets for the record-breaking theatrical event Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will go on sale to the general public at 9.00am on Thursday 29 April 2021.

Simon Russell Beale will play JS Bach in the world premiere of Nina Raine's Bach & Sons, directed by Nicholas Hytner.  Performances at The Bridge are from 23 June – 9 September 2021 with opening night on 29 June 2021.
