Based on the hit film and the incredible true story, Candlelight's CATCH ME IF YOU CAN is the high-flying musical comedy about chasing your dreams and not getting caught. If you're gonna fake, fake til you make it!

The Des Moines Community Playhouse held the 2019 Dionysos Awards on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019. The theatre honored 14 backstage, guest services, and education volunteers, and announced 12 acting award winners. The evening began with a number from A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, on stage now through Sept. 29, 2019.

The musical adaptation of Steven Steven Spielberg's screenplay(2002) of Frank William Abagnale Jr's autobiography (1980, written by Abagnale and Stan Redding) is given the intimate Hayes Theatre treatment for an evening of high energy song and dance as one of the America's most famous fraudsters is bought to life in CATCH ME IF YOU CAN. 

Broadway, brace yourself for the return of Aaron Tveit! Tveit has had an extremely successful and diverse career, on stage and screen, but Broadway has been missing him since he wrapped up in Catch Me If You Can in 2011. Now, Tveit is making his return to the Great White Way in Moulin Rouge! Take a look back on Aaron's career, and see what he's been up to since we last saw him on a Broadway stage!

The Greenville Theatre cast and crew of Catch Me If You Can were in for a treat on Sunday June 2, 2019 when immediately following their performance they learned Frank Abagnale, Jr. was in attendance and would soon be joining them for pictures and to answer questions.

Celebrate "Ol' Blue Eyes" from his early beginnings in New York during the 1940s swing era through the bright lights of Vegas with the Rat Pack in the 1960s to his final performances as "Chairman of the Board." Starring Cassandra Klaphake, Sal Pavia, Liz Fallon and Andrew Ruggieri, this ENCORE at Arizona Broadway Theatre production brings Sinatra's music alive.

Broadway Method Academy (BMA), in association with the Shubert Theatre of New Haven and Westport Country Playhouse, announces the nominees for the second annual Stephen Sondheim Awards. The black-tie gala will take place on June 3 at 7:30 pm at the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, CT.  The program's mission is to recognize excellence in high school musical theater.

Based on the biographical hit film of the same name, which starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks, Catch Me If You Can will play from 19 July at the Hayes Theatre Co. The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) today announced the nominees in all 10 categories of the first-ever CAPA Marquee Awards. Designed to recognize and celebrate the wealth of high-caliber musical theatre talent in central Ohio, the newly created awards program sent adjudicators to performances of each of the 10 participating high schools' musical theatre productions to evaluate nominated students/productions in the categories of Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Actress in a Leading Role, Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Best Actress in a Supporting Role, Best Musical Production, Best Direction, Outstanding Ensemble Performance, and Outstanding Student Orchestra Performance. Adjudicators also separately evaluated hard-copy submissions in the categories
