The virtual edition of Broadway Backwards delivered an emotional and exuberant evening of performances and raised a record $749,555 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center.

Broadway Backwards, the annual event where gender doesn’t matter but love does, is set to make its virtual premiere this Tuesday, March 30, 2021, with special appeals from Chasten Buttigieg, Ariana DeBose, Debra Messing, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Tony Shalhoub and Ben Vereen.

“But,” she says hopefully, “with the re-spark of the Black Lives Matter movement, I have been able to find my voice in theatre, as well as socially.” “We still have so much work to do.” she continues. “And there are so many performers, as well as organizations, putting in the work for things to change; to push for equity on and off the stage.”

TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT is back by popular demand for One Night Only! Saturday, March 13 at 5:00 pm (PST). An original streaming musical written specifically for the online world in which we are living with book, music, lyrics and directed by Bruce Kimmel, with musical direction and orchestrations by Richard Allen. The 101st Kritzerland show is also the ninth anniversary show!  Yes, it's Kritzerland's ninth anniversary and it's going to be a fun show, filled with classic songs from musical theatre and film, and, as always, some incredibly rare material you won't hear at any other shows.  Kritzerland did its very first show in September 2010 and the shows are still going strong.

For the 98th Kritzerland show, it's our annual May madness show, which, like our crazy April Fools show, is equally mad and wild, with some pretty stuff thrown in, too.
