New York Stage and Film returns July 9-August 7 for five weeks of in-person programming in Poughkeepsie for their 2022 Summer Season.  For 38 years, NYSAF has operated as a vital incubator for artists and their work, a catalyst for stories that continue across the country and around the world.  All tickets are $25 and go on sale June 1.

Colt Coeur, in association with creative producer Emma Orme and director Tara Elliott, will present the premiere of Pleasure Machine, a nine-episode audio thriller that collides Sophie Treadwell’s 1928 expressionist drama Machinal with adrienne maree brown’s Pleasure Activism.

Atlantic for Kids has announced a two week extension of their episodic audio production of And in This Corner: Cassius Clay by playwright, rapper, and poet Idris Goodwin . Directed by Reggie D. White , this stage play turned four-part audio drama about the early life of Muhammad Ali will now be available to stream on demand through June 7.

The final two writers in the collaboration between Harlem9, Harlem Stage, and The Lucille Lortel Theatre (co-producers) have been named.  Kristen Adele Calhoun and Mildred Lewis will close out the series with 15-day streaming periods on YouTube in May and June 2021.

Cleveland Play House rings in the new year with the next installment of Theatre Thursday: Inspiring Resolutions on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 7:00 pm.
