BIO

ERIC LOCKLEY is an OBIE award-winning actor, writer, comedian and producer. Stage: Choir Boy, Black Odyssey Screen: First Reformed, Luke Cage Eric’s comedic web series Blacker is featured on “Best Web Series” lists and his short film, The Jump is available to stream on Amazon. Eric’s written works including Blacken the Bubble, Without Trace and Last Laugh have been seen on stages in DC, NY and Chicago. Lockley was featured Off-Broadway in #DateMe and weekly performs in and writes for the digital sketch comedy, “The Homemade Sketch Show” (available on Tubi TV). Eric also served as Head Writer for the widely praised inaugural celebration of Black theater, The Antonyos. Eric's inspirational podcast, The 180, is available on all streaming platforms. The talk show mixes his unique brand of joy, self-empowerment and comedy. Lockley also produces with his Harlem-based orgs, The Movement Theatre Company & Harlem9, and he creates #blackboyjoy content on his social media platforms. @iamericlockley
