While I have heard wonderful things about the musical CATS and about the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, CT, I had never experienced either until March 5, 2020, when both far exceeded my expectations when I saw this musical masterpiece phenomenally performed by an extraordinary cast, to a packed audience representing numerous demographics, leaving us all united with an amazing memory of such an incredible theatrical experience!

AT THIS PERFORMANCE... will return to The Green Room 42 featuring Standbys, Understudies and Alternates from Jagged Little Pill; West Side Story; Ain't Too Proud:The Life and Times of the Temptations; Emojiland and Fiddler on the Roof [Fiddler Afn Dakh] on MONDAY, MARCH 9TH at 7 PM.

Producers announced casting for the North American tour of the first ever Broadway revival of CATS. The multi-year tour launched at Providence Performing Arts Center on January 22, 2019 and will play 40+ cities during its multi-year tour, including the Fabulous Fox Theatre from April 7-19.

“Are you blind when you're born? Can you see in the dark?” According to iconic lyrics by Richard Stilgoe for one of Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit shows, Jellicles are and Jellicle do! The national tour of the megamusical phenomenon, Cats, stopped at Thalia Mara Hall in Jackson, Mississippi as a part of the Broadway in Jackson series presented by Trustmark on February 13th and 14th to show audience members exactly what the lives of Jellicle cats look like, specifically on the night of the all-important Jellicle Ball.

It's time to head to the diner for a look at Joshua Colley performing Waitress's show-stopping song 'She Used to Be Mine' at Feinstein's/54 Below as part of 'Tuesdays at 54... with Robbie Rozelle!' accompanied by Luke Williams on the piano. BroadwayWorld has learned that WICKED Broadway alumni Donna Vivino will go past the Russel Hotel to the Heaviside Layer as Grizabella on the CATS tour beginning February 2020.

Broadway's Donna Vivino Stars in Bristol Riverside Theatre production of  the Tony award winning musical, 'Next To Normal.'  

Bristol Riverside Theatre follows up its season opener, An Act of God, with Kim Wayans and continues its 33rd Season with Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey's Broadway hit, Next To Normal. This Tony and Pulitzer winning musical drama about a family coming apart at its center runs October 29 to November 24, 2019. Opening Night is Thursday, October 31 at 7:30pm. BRT's Artistic Director Keith Baker directs this rock musical that features NYC-based actress Donna Vivino in the role of Diana.. All performances are at Bristol Riverside Theatre in Bucks County, located at 120 Radcliffe Street. The inaugural Rave Theater Festival wrapped up over the weekend, and festival awards were given to select shows and performers.  Winners were chosen for outstanding production, outstanding musical, outstanding play, outstanding performances, outstanding direction, outstanding design, outstanding original score, outstanding book of a musical, outstanding choreography, outstanding ensemble, and outstanding marketing.  Fancy Maids by Harold Hodge Jr. led the awardees with three.  Four more shows were recognized with two awards each, including Back, Oceanborn, The Perfect Fit, and The Tycoons!.

Rita Donatella is a struggling wannabe actress working in a science lab and donning the white coat.  She's 'analyzing feces inside a rat' and declares 'I'm not loving that.'  Her agent calls and her dreams are finally realized.  She's going to star in a movie with an A-list actor.  Waiting For Johnny Depp is a semi-autobiographical musical comedy chronicling the perilous world of self-absorption and career angst.

K.I.S.S. THEATRICALS presents the East Coast premiere of WAITING FOR JOHNNY DEPP starring Broadway's DONNA VIVINO (Les Miz, Hairspray, Wicked) as part of the RAVE THEATER FESTIVAL. This one-woman musical with book, music and lyrics by JANET COLE VALDEZ and DEEDEE O'MALLEY, music by BETTIE ROSS, directed by HOLLY FRIEDMAN and choreography by JUSON WILLIAMS revolves around the zany adventures of an actress who risks it all for the role of a lifetime.
