Sandy Hackett Rat Pack Show, which has stacked up rave reviews over the years, is a theatrical, musical production which recreates what it would have been like to see legendary icons, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. and Joey Bishop live onstage together. After a successful run in 2013, it returns to Bristol Riverside Theatre April 5 - 7, 2019.

The popular musical, 'Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show,' now in its tenth season, announced a Florida run as part of its U.S. Theatre Season Tour, a new cast recording release and a February launch for its extensive new website. The theatrical production stars Sandy Hackett, son of the illustrious comedian Buddy Hackett, and his wife, Lisa Dawn Miller, daughter of legendary songwriter, Ron Miller. The two produce the show under their jointly-led production company, Hackett Miller.

The McCallum Theatre presents "Legends in Concert," living tributes to Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Cher, and Neil Diamond, on Tuesday, February 19, at 8:00pm, and Wednesday, February 20, at 2:00pm and 8:00pm. "Legends in Concert" is the longest-running show in Las Vegas history, and after 35 years, is still voted #1 tribute show in the city. The internationally acclaimed and award-winning production is known as the pioneer of live tribute shows, and possesses the greatest collection of live tribute artists in the world. Known as "Mr. Entertainment," Sammy Davis, Jr., had the kind of career that was indisputably legendary, vast in scope and scale: song-and-dance man, Rat Pack member alongside Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, Tony-nominated actor…. And yet, his life was complex, complicated and contradictory, as he strove to achieve the American Dream in a time of racial prejudice and shifting political territory.

Hubbard Street, a well-established Contemporary Dance Company presents an interesting collage of dance pieces that are demanding technique-wise yet so fluid and rhythmic they make it look effortless and fresh. I say collage because the evening painted a bigger picture through each piece, making it complete by the finish. The sixteen dancers are amazing physical interpreters of a feeling, a mood, an emotion, a vibe. They are strong, versatile and vibrant. The pieces by themselves are each complex, deep, bold, unique; with maximum controlled energy, extreme focus and inner and outer strength required, or rather, mandatory to perform them. That verbiage might seem a bit jumbled, but it's what I felt after seeing these dancers perform... (That's my stream-of-consciousness statement)

The NEW book musical, JUDY GARLAND "World's Greatest Entertainer" premieres at the baby grand in Wilmington on March 22 - March 30 for six performances.

Earlier today, BroadwayWorld was saddened to report the passing of the legendary Carol Channing. Channing died at 12:31am on Tuesday, January 15th, 2019, at home in Rancho Mirage, CA of natural causes.

The NEW book musical, JUDY GARLAND 'World's Greatest Entertainer' opens at the baby grand in Wilmington on March 22 - March 30 for 6 performances. Written by Delaware native Playwright Greer Firestone, the show takes place in 1961, 2 weeks after Judy's legendary concert at Carnegie Hall which critics termed 'the greatest night in show business history'. This ORIGINAL musical has aspirations past the baby grand. National producers will be invited.

The State Theatre will host a special Valentine's edition of Stage on Stage featuring Charlie Romo on Friday, February 8th.  The State Theatre main stage will be transformed into a "club" atmosphere, with the performers and the audience both on stage.  A cash bar will also be available on stage. The Valentine Stage on Stage is presented by RMG Insurance and includes Special guest Colette Boudreaux accompanied by Charity Wicks.

Giuntoli appears today, December 14 at 7 PM at Don't Tell Mama, reprising his September 2018 sold-out turn there with We've Got a World That Swings. Music Director is jazz pianist Matt Baker. Adam Kabak is on bass.
