Curtain Up!, a three-day outdoor experience, will take place outdoors in Times Square, on Broadway stretching between 45th and 48th Streets. Twenty-two unique events will take place on stages in Duffy Square (7th Ave. & 47th St.) and between 45th & 46th Streets.

The Tank Announces In-Person and Digital Programming for LIMEFEST in August

The Tank announced today the full line up for Lime Fest, which will present 20 performances between Saturday August 14– Saturday August 28, 2021. The Tank’s LimeFest celebrates a dozen new works by over 80 emerging artists who identify as women, nonbinary or gender non-conforming to make way for more gender parity in the performing arts.

Lin-Manuel Miranda and Karen Olivo have joined in on the new In the Heights trend sweeping through TikTok! The pair, who originated the roles of Usnavi and Vanessa in the original Broadway production of In the Heights, filmed themselves lip-syncing to 'Blackout' from the film, with Miranda singing Vanessa's part and Olivo singing Usnavi's.

The new film adaptation of 'In The Heights' has brought in box office numbers that are lower than predicted. The film was expected to generate more than $20 million. However, with it bringing in $4.9 million on Friday from 3,456 theaters, its 3-day estimate is now just under $13 million.
