Playwright, librettist, scriptwriter and outspoken LGBTQ activist Terrence McNally died of coronavirus complications on March 24. American Masters explored McNally's six-decade career in the documentary Terrence McNally: Every Act of Life, which premiered on PBS on June 14, 2019. To honor the life and legacy of the playwright and activist, American Masters and PBS are making the documentary available to stream.

This spring, ABC turns up the romance with the compelling new modern-day fairy tale 'The Baker and the Beauty' premiering MONDAY, APRIL 13 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), following the premiere of the all-new Bachelor Nation series, 'The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart.'

ABC's compelling new modern-day fairy tale, “The Baker and the Beauty,” will take viewers on a flavor-filled adventure between relatable everyman Daniel and international superstar Noa. Daniel Garcia is working in the family bakery and doing everything that his loving Cuban parents and siblings expect him to do. But when he meets Noa Hamilton on a wild Miami night, his life moves into the spotlight. Will this unlikely couple upend their lives to be together and pull his family into a culture clash? “The Baker and the Beauty” premieres MONDAY, APRIL 6 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT).

Adding some friendly competition to your Christmas cheer, back-to-back installments of Freeform original holiday series “Wrap Battle” will air on MONDAYS at 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. EST/PST, with the finale airing MONDAY, DEC. 9. Freeform also released its first-ever “25 Days of Christmas” jingle, featuring Freeform Santa and “Good Trouble” star Emma Hunton. Center Theatre Group will world premiere Eliza Clark's new comedy QUACK at the Kirk Douglas Theatre. Already in previews (with opening set for October 28, 2018), QUACK ever so timely illustrates the vulnerability of an adoring public eager to follow, without question, the advice of TV personality Dr. Irving Baer. I had the opportunity to throw a few questions out to Jackie Chung, a Center Theatre Group alumni who plays the talk show guru's nurse Kelly.
