TheaterWorksUSA has announced the cast and creative team for Dog Man: The Musical  as its returns to New York.  See how to purchase tickets!

DISRUPTION, a new play written by Andrew Stein and directed by Hersh Ellis will have two special reading presentations on Thursday, February 16 at 12:00PM and 3:00PM at Open Jar Studios.

TheaterWorksUSA  will bring  Dog Man: The Musical  back to New York, beginning its limited eight-week run on  March 4  through April 30 at New World Stages.

Last night, shortly before the show was about to begin, the official opening night of The Collaboration was cancelled due to a case of Covid-19 in the cast detected during pre-show testing.  TheaterWorksUSA in association with The Apollo, will present an invite only staged reading of Jason Reynolds’ New York Times best-selling young adult novel Long Way Down in a compelling new musical by Dahlak Brathwaite and Khiyon Hursey, directed and choreographed by Ken-Matt Martin on November 21 at Pearl Studios.   

The Museum of Broadway officially opened yesterday, November 13, ahead of its official public opening tomorrow. BroadwayWorld was there and you can check out photos from the red carpet event here! Acclaimed creators of family entertainment TheaterWorksUSA has partnered with California's La Mirada Theatre to present high-quality theatre for young audiences. This partnership will allow the New York-based TheaterWorksUSA to offer their original musicals as part of La Mirada's Programs for Young Audiences Series.

TheaterWorksUSA new, 60-minute production of The Lightning Thief: Theatre for Young Audiences Edition will perform in New York City before heading out on its quest around the country. Performing two shows only on October 1, 3 PM and 7 PM at Five Angels Theater.

Oregon Children's Theatre (OCT) will present TheaterWorksUSA's NY Times Critic's Pick, Dog Man: The Musical based on the popular book series by Dav Pilkey. Dog Man: The Musical will be presented at the Newmark Theatre, located at Portland'5 Center for the Arts, October 23 through November 20.

Black Theatre United's inaugural gala, “A Night to Remember,” will take place on Monday, October 3 at The Rooftop at Pier 17. The evening will begin with a concert featuring performances by America’s most sought-after Black Broadway and theater talent.

TheaterWorksUSA has announced their upcoming 2022 - 2023 season, including the national touring premieres of PETE THE CAT'S BIG HOLLYWOOD ADVENTURE, EL OTRO OZ, and THE LIGHTNING THIEF: TYA EDITION, along with returning favorites touring across the country.

 Broadway Black presents The 2nd Annual Antonyo Awards, which honors Black theatre artists during the 2021-2022 season. The live, in-person ceremony will be held on Monday, October 10 at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem (253 West 125th Street). Awards in 29 competitive categories and five honorary categories will be presented along with performances and guest appearances.
