The full cast and creative team have been announced for the premiere production of new musical 42 Balloons playing at The Lowry, Salford from 18 April – 19 May 2024, with a gala performance on Thursday 2 May.

The pure joy of theatre is its ability to constantly renew and surprise. For me, 2023 saw a plethora of excellent musicals. Notoriously hard to get right, this year seemed to feature both clever revivals and future successes, many of which remained in my thoughts long after I left the theatre.

For theatre-goers wondering whether to travel to Chichester for nuns and Nazis or to Sheffield to see the last night of the Vietnam War, I would urge them to consider heading down to a Surrey Lavender farm for the inaugural production at the new Lavender Theatre; a foot-stomping and utterly joyful version of Annie Get Your Gun.

An all new first look photo has been revealed of SuRie as Annie Oakley  and Charlie McCullagh as Frank Butler  in ‘Annie Get Your Gun’  at the stunning new open-air Lavender Theatre.

SuRie, who was famously interrupted by a rogue stage invasion during the Eurovision live final, will play Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun at the Lavender Theatre.

All new rehearsal images have been released of the What’s On Stage Award-Winning BONNIE & CLYDE THE MUSICAL which begins performances at The Garrick Theatre on Saturday 4 March.

The winners have been announced for the 2022 BroadwayWorld UK / West End Awards, honouring the best in regional productions, touring shows, and more which had their first performance between October 1, 2021 until September 30, 2022.

The full cast has been announced for BONNIE & CLYDE THE MUSICAL at The Garrick Theatre reuniting stars Frances Mayli McCann and Jordan Luke Gage as the titular pair alongside the Olivier Award winning Georgie Maguire reprising his role as 'Buck Barrow' and West End star Jodie Steele as Blanche Barrow, with Olivier Award nominated Cleve September returning as 'Ted' and Dom Hartley-Harris as Preacher.

Full casting is announced for DOCTOR ZHIVAGO – IN CONCERT playing at the London Palladium for one-night-only on Sunday 7 May 2023. 

Tickets are now on sale for an extra performance of the staged concerts of new musical 42 Balloons by Jack Godfrey, currently in development through their sister company Perfect Pitch, an entity dedicated exclusively to creating, developing and promoting new contemporary British musicals.

Award winning producers Andy and Wendy Barnes from Global Musicals, together with Kevin McCollum from Alchemation will present a series of staged concert performances of new musical 42 Balloons by Jack Godfrey. The concerts will be staged at the Vaudeville Theatre on Monday 14 November, Monday 21 November and Monday 28 November.
